Highly recommend, fun for the whole family!
The whole family is loving this book! It has so many great ideas for activities using items that you probably already have at home. The only thing I have had to buy so far for an activity in this book is pretzel sticks because that’s not something we normally have on hand. They are for an activity where you use pretzel sticks and mini marshmallows to build stuff. It has great ideas to enhance playtime learning while doing things we already do on a regular basis.

So thankful I got this!
I am so grateful for this book! We do about 3-4 a week and many days my two year old asks for science experiments and wants to pick one out. They are so simple and I’m so grateful many of them just need a couple items we already have at home. Another thing I love is each experiment has a “messiness level” and time needed so I know what we’re getting into. Some are great in between activities and others are great to set out and take time to do it. I love having all these in book form to flip through instead of scrolling on my phone for ideas and I’ve been gifting it for every toddler friend birthday party we’re invited to. The author is brilliant and creative and I’m so grateful for these simple and creative ideas to try with my son. I totally recommend this book if you’re looking for easy and unique new things to do with your little one. It makes the day a unique one from the normal stuff you find yourself doing. Thank you for creating this book! Ps I find excitement in what happens during the experiments just as much as my son does!

Creative and fun science projects for toddlers that are easy for busy parents to implement!
The Curious Toddler’s Science Activity Book is perfect for the busy parent who wants to be able to do fun projects with their kiddos on the fly. There are so many activities and experiments to choose from and the absolute best part is that most of the materials you need can be found in your home. This means you don’t have to miss out on a fun activity with your kiddos if you didn’t have time to prep. Truly, little to no prep needed. If you pick an activity and you find you are missing one ingredient or material, just flip to the next one. This book hasn’t failed me yet and my kids have enjoyed every activity we’ve tried. I love seeing their little faces light up with wonder and curiosity. Kailan Carr has created a dynamic resource that any parent can implement. I highly recommend this book for parents who are passionate about providing their children with early childhood education in creative ways that speak to their developmental level. Get their little brains excited about science and eager to learn more!! And I’m not gonna lie…you might learn something new from these activities too!

Engaging activities for every age
The Quiet Book Queen Kailan Carr is a local gem, and I’m so glad she’s started publishing books! This Science Activity Book has so many hands-on, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities. I have done several of these activities with my two toddler/infant daughters and they have enjoyed each one! I’m also a 3rd grade teacher and have completed some of these (with modifications) in my class. The kiddos absolutely love it!!! I love how thoughtfully put together each activity is. Easy instructions to follow for tons of fun learning. Great for family time, or scree free activities with friends. While I did receive a copy from the publisher, I have since purchased this book, and several others of Kailan’s. They are GREAT gifts!

Totally recommend!
Got this in the mail today and I feel like I’ve already devoured the first 30 pages in a 20 min period! It’s written so well with very easy to follow instructions with minimal prep needed, using household items or things in nature and it involves so many learning skills. There are some activities that you may already know or do if you research stuff like this like I do but there were so many more cool ideas that you might not have thought of. My baby is one and now that it’s Spring I can’t wait for us to go out and get to try these activities! Totally recommend!

GREAT ideas for creative play time
I bought this to add lots of sensory fun to the life of my granddaughter, who was 2 months old when Covid struck. It is filled with great and inexpensive ideas, with a lot of emphasis on discovering nature. I have gifted this several times, including to 2 elementary teachers who LOVED it. Strongly recommend!

This was exactly the sort of thing I was after to fill the long days with my toddler. I really liked the idea of the book and I’m so happy with the product itself. Plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to suit the weather. I always worry with these sorts of things that the ingredients would be really hard to find, but I find that most stuff is either things we have in anyway or really easy to grab at any shop. I have done quite a few of these activities now, with my toddler, with my class of 6 year old and my colleague even used some with her 10 year olds. I think there are some activities more suited to 2 year olds and some to older kids but it’s pretty obvious from looking through the experiment who it’s best suited for. There are a few activities that are a bit dull but when there’s over 100 I can’t blame them. The quality is excellent, everything is a lovely premium and I wouldn’t hesitate to give this as a gift. Recommended to anyone who has a 1-4 year old (there is stuff for older kids but less choice) looking for cheap/free activities to fill the days!

Not many pictures so not as engaging for toddlers I find.

Great activities for little ones to learn. The content is brilliant. Quality of paper particularly disappointing as it feels cheap and it’s for a gift.

The next time something is delivered, it is expected to be new shape. Not bent and folded like I found this unfortunately.
