EMAY 6L ECG–Great device and great customer service…definitely recommend
The EMAY 6L mobile ECG was very easy to set up; it was already fully charged when it arrived and was ready to go to work. It was surprisingly easy to use and found all the electrical signals it needed for the six channels to start recording after only a couple of seconds. It paired to my Android phone bluetooth with no problem, although if you have no immediate need to print a copy of the ECG graph or send it your doctor, you don’t have use your phone at all, and there is no subscription required. It has a very readable screen on the front of the device, unlike some of the competitors for which you have to use your phone to view the graphics. In addition to the 6 channel monitoring, it gives information on your heart rate. It also will provide just a single channel reading by placing left and right hand thumbs on the front sensors, which gives just the basic ECG graphic without the additional details. To activate the 6 channels, just place the device on the LEFT knee or ankle so that the sensor on the back of the device makes direct contact with the skin. In addition to providing the ECG graphics, it does, in real time, provide an analysis of the results and will report if there are any abnormalities. Fortunately, so far, all my tests have reported “no abnormalities”, but I thought I would test what happens if I do something to confuse it, and it immediately reported that there was an abnormality. The device seems well made and sturdy, is comfortable to hold and make contact with all the sensors, and is a good size to carry with you on a daily basis or when traveling. Unfortunately, it does not come with a carrying case, which would be handy if you wish to take it with you outside the home environment. (A separate case is available though for sale) Lastly, customer service was exceptional; shortly after I received the product, they contacted me via email to check that I had received it and to see that everything was working properly and asked if I had any questions about using it. I was impressed by that level of customer support! All in all, I highly recommend the device to do what it is designed for, and I recommend the seller for their excellent customer care.

THE BEST EKG DEVICE FOR THE HOME
I am a medical doctor and was looking for a small EKG (electrocardiograph) to have handy at home to be able to monitor my own heart as well as those of family members and friends. The Emay 6L turned out to be the perfect device for my purposes. It is small, east to use, and does exactly what I was looking for. Of course it will give you the six main leads, I, II, III, aVR, aVL, and aVF, which is really what you just need for day to day home use. For the V leads you will of course need a full size EKG. I honestly did not expect to be able to find a device capable of giving me the six main leads at such size, convenience, and price. You do not have to be a doctor to use it, because it will interpret the results for you so that if necessary you can contact your doctor. I am extremely happy that I found this device. There is also available a hard carrying case manufactured by the same company, Emay. Make sure you get only this one, it is excellent for keeping your device clean and secure and traveling with it. To top it all, the customer service is excellent and they are there to help you in case you need it.

High-quality device
As a former firefighter paramedic, I have experience, knowledge and understanding of EKG machines and heart rhythms. As an athlete, I monitor my health by tracking my vital signs. I use a pulse oximeter and blood pressure machine, but I have not had a portable EKG machine until now.This device is a standalone, portable EKG machine that has the option of a 1 or 6 lead reading. As I understand it, more leads means more views of the heart so if a problem exists, it can be identified. The device is small, lightweight and very durable. The screen is easy to read and the instructions are clear. I have found it very important to wet your fingers, thumbs and the top of the left thigh for proper conductivity in the 6 lead function. Also, I have found it useful to lightly touch the sensors with your thumbs. As it states in the instructions, if you squeeze, it can cause artifact and an improper reading.. I don’t touch my leg with my fingers and l don’t move. It’s very convenient and easy to use. I also like that it’s a standalone device and that it has the option of pairing with an app. Attached is a photo of a recent reading of mine after using the device. Thank you.

I have a history of mitral valve prolapse syndrome (Barlow’s Syndrome). I felt that in 1980 and visited the cardiologist who let me see it in the ECG he performed for me. That appeared in the form of a Premature Ventricular Complex (PVC). Later, I followed up my case, everytime to undergo an ECG and get a report. Ten years ago, the cardiologist discovered Aortic Valve insufficiency with increased blood regurgitation of both the mitral and the aortic valves, a mild left ventricle hypertrophy and an increased number of PVCs. Recently, I felt that my case needed more frequent visits to the cardiologist for follow-up or, if there is someway, to try to observe oneslf at home.The Emay monitor seems to be an excellent device to use everday to see if there are any developments. This helps to decide on when to visit the cardiologist.My son who is a frequent customer of Amazon, decided to bring it as a gift to me. I am observing my ECG using this monitor on daily basis and I feel it is giving me peace of mind. Very accurate, it diagnosed my partners heart problems in easy to read text. It is extremely easy to use and well built. Customer service is the best I have ever experienced although I did not need them they contacted me to ensure everything was ok with the product which is like a breath of fresh air these days.
