Pretty good for what it is
I found a number of customers thought this little guide was flimsy and others thought it wasn’t inclusive enough. I found this little book to be quite good. The medical information conforms pretty much with what I learned on a recent Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED course. The book is not going to teach you to be an EMT.The information is current, concise, and well presented. It is well indexed and logically presented. There are quite a few photos, which I found useful and clear. Its small size makes it a natural for my small first aid kit. There are many large, more inclusive first aid manuals available on Amazon (I bought a couple of them). But they can be overwhelming if you’re looking for a quick answer to a common first aid problem. This little guy is just the ticket.Late add: I have to say that the combination of ink and paper used to print the booklet leads to easy smearing by just holding the booklet in your hands. I also covered the front and back of the booklet with clear self-adhering plastic – makes for a sturdier booklet.

    Great for emergencies
I bought this and a couple other like it to put with my hurricane kit. I realized that although I have the supplies I might need for basic medical care during an emergency to go along with a decent amount of CPR and first aid training, that these would come in handy. Both as a refresher or guide during a stressful situation and as a supplement to the training and experience I have. Its small, easy to carry around if you’re hiking or traveling. It contains a lot of info in a small package but is easy to read and easy to locate the info you need quickly.

Good First Aid Guide for your Kit
If you have a first aid kit in your home or car without a guide, this one is a great option to add in. It covers all the critical to fairly minor first aid concerns. If you don’t have the opportunity for regular first aid training, this guide can help remind you how to help care for those in need until medics arrive. Includes color pictures.

    Good pocket guide supplemental resource
Great pocket guide for first aid! We bought ours to clip onto the edge of our fridge with a magnet so we could have a readily accessible first aid guide without having to run upstairs to the office bookshelf and searching for first aid guides. Comprehensive and great for many short term emergencies.

    Not worthwhile
Jokes on me. Print out first aid info on line and put with kit.

Content OK, format needs serious improvement
I got this as a potential first aid guide while refreshing our first aid kits/stations because the basic booklets that come with the first aid kits aren’t really adequate. The medical content of this booklet is completely fine — I read through at least half of it against my previous training and reference and learned a few things and verified the rest is good. So far, so good. But I seriously question the usefulness of this booklet in an emergency:1. The format is basically like an advertising brochure — glossy but flimsy paper.2. It’s very small. It’s hard enough to read in a non-emergency situation, I can’t imagine somebody being able to get to the appropriate information in a timely manner in an urgent situation.3. The formatting is crammed — mostly in bullet points. Bullet points have their place but on the page they’re all equally important. Some procedures have numbered steps, but they’re the exception. The headers are also inconsistent; discerning assessment from treatment steps requires reading all the way through some sections. As a pro forma insert for a first aid kit, I suppose it has its place, but a comb-bound booklet with larger type and more white space / better formatting would be more useful for the intended audience, e.g. people who may not know what to do in a given situation or who need guidance.
