Works great and faster than wireless.
I’ve had this for a long while now and its much better than having my amazon 4k stick wireless. Nothing to complain about really. Was easy to install and to use. Quality is good enough to continue to work for a few years now.

A must!
Do you have a Fire Stick 4K and frustrated over erratic performance? Is your WiFi connectivity or speed slow due to the number of devices sharing your WiFi? If so, you should consider this adapter. With it you can connect to your physical network via an Ethernet cable (you must have an available port available on a network switch). This adapter has a power pass thru for your Fire Stick. Immediately, your throughput should go up as you are now passing maximum speed to your Fire Stick. The side benefit is the elimination of this WiFi drain to the rest of your devices. The adapter seems to be well made, doesn’t generate much heat, is small, designed well and a bargain. It is easy to setup and is plus and play. I did not have to reset my Fire Stick, it automatically connected with the saved settings. Amazon should always recommend this optional item to provide the buyer with optimal performance. In my case the throughput and reduction in latency was significant. Highly recommend.

Amazon fire Stick adapter for plugging into your modem
This is a solid product I highly recommend this if you want to plug your Amazon fire stick straight from a hard drive from your modem works perfect and makes it much faster instead of lagging and gets rid of all buffing that you may have.

Adequate for Internet streaming content
Works well for standard streaming, but problematic if streaming 4K HDR content from a media server like Plex. I really wish they would make these streaming devices with Gigabit Ethernet ports, but they all seem to settle for 10/100. This caused buffering problems with my Plex server content. I had to go back to wireless in order to have adequate bandwidth for 4K HDR (HD Blu-ray) content. I prefer the reliability of wired connections whenever possible.

Works great
Easy to set up. I wish I got this sooner. Crystal clear tv now with no lagging. My tv is too far from the router so this device saved the day.

The Missing Piece of the Amazon Firestick TV Stick Puzzle
I got notice recently from Paramount + that to OS of my ancient FIreTV is no longer supported. So, during an Amazon sale and went ahead and picked up a FireTV stick only to realize afterwards that it only uses wifi and doesn’t have an ethernet port. The wifi speed on my internet service isn’t fast enough to watch on my FireTV stick. I was thinking that I’d have to go through the trouble of returning and getting a FireTV box with an ethernet port. when I found out that Amazon carries an ethernet adapter for the stick. The adapter is simple enough. Just connect to the FireTV stick and either net port and use the power connection from the original FireTV stick. The adapter is only about the size of an SD card reader. Problem solved! Here is what I like and dislike of the Ethernet Adapter:Likes:——– easy hookup- pass through power (just use from the Firetv stick)- gets job done- small in sizeDisklikes:- not of the adapter but Amazon (why not just have an ethernet port built into the FireTV stick?)I give the Ethernet Adapter for Amazon Fire TV Devices 5 out of 5 stars

Perfect for Steam Link
I bought this for a very specific reason…Steam Link. If you check the pictures you’ll see my connection over wifi then again with the adapter. It was very choppy over wifi barley worked on my FireStick 4k but even with just 100mbps download/upload that’s PERFECT for my very specific issue. Steam link doesn’t need more than a SOLID 30-50mbps to stream almost flawlessly at 4k60 almost no input latency (just don’t play shooters obviously on any streaming service) mostly playing POE2, Digimon story time stranger and a few others but it makes it a lot easier to play at night when I’m too lazy to get up and goto my PC and I can just lie in bed. Oh ya if you get the “downloader” app on your FireStick you can download literally anything I bought mine specifically to use as a Stream Link device and it works PERFECTLY for that. So if you don’t want to spend $50-100 on an actual old official steam link device just buy a FireStick and this Ethernet adapter you’ll be set. I love it.
