This Stand Made My Desk Feel Way More Comfy And Organized….and I am loving It!!!!
I’ve been using this laptop stand for a bit now, and wow it kinda changed how my whole desk feels during the day. I grabbed it cause my neck was getting tired from staring down at my laptop all the time, and I wanted something that didn’t wobble or take up half the desk. This little aluminum stand ended up being way more useful than I thought. The first thing I noticed was how light it is. I picked it up and thought, ok this might be too light to hold my laptop steady, but nope, once you open it up and set it down it feels solid. The aluminum frame has a nice smooth finish and doesn’t scratch easy. I folded and unfolded it a bunch of times just to test it and nothing felt loose or flimsy.Setting it up is super simple. You just pull the arms apart and adjust the height. It has a bunch of angle options so you can raise it just a little or go pretty high if you want the screen closer to eye level. I tried a few different angles until I found the one that didn’t make my wrists feel weird.One thing I really liked is how it helps with airflow. My laptop used to get warm when I had too many tabs open, but with this stand the bottom stays open and the fans don’t get blocked. I noticed it runs quieter too.The rubber pads on the arms are a nice touch. They keep the laptop from sliding around and they don’t leave marks. I tried a 13 inch laptop, a 15 inch, and even a heavier older model, and all of them fit fine.

It does the job well! for home office laptop setup. Not sure about other uses.
I’m using this laptop stand under a lenovo 14″ laptop, and it certainly does the job. The stand has become a daily driver in my wife’s office. I’m withholding the 5th star because I’m a nit-picker (below), but I feel comfortable recommending the stand for daily use.The stand feels sturdy, no bounce even when typing on the laptop keyboard (though we normally use an external keyboard and mouse), and the non-skid feet feel secure on the desktop. The non-skid feet certainly work on a smooth laminate or wood desk, but I think they’d work just as well on glass. We keep the laptop in its (thin) docking station so the power and network cables lead out the back rather than sticking out from the sides of the laptop. The the stand handles the extra weight of the docking station without problem, even at the lowest height setting.The stand allows me to raise the laptop screen into my direct line of sight so I don’t have to hunch over the keyboard, as advertised, and also improves the camera angle for video chats; you don’t see the reflection of the laptop screen in my glasses any more.Using the stand allowed us to get rid of the external monitor we were using, freeing up some space on the desktop. The old monitor wasn’t offering any higher resolution or a better speakers or camera anyway.The stand comes with a nice carrying bag and allen wrenches to adjust the joint stiffness if eventually needed.So where’s the 5th star?I don’t like the design of the rear support leg and its latching mechanism. The leg itself is a narrow, long piece, and it extends back from the stand at a flat angle, more strain when set at the lowest height (our preferred setting for our 14″ laptop). The cast metal construction seems sturdy enough to handle it, but most of the flex I felt in the whole stand seems to come from this leg and pin assembly. If the leg could be shorter and extend at more of a right angle for the same height, I think it would feel more sturdy.Another don’t-like is the latching mechanism for the support leg.It’s just by a pin that fits into notches on the side of the leg, held in place by the weight of the stand and laptop or whatever you put on it (see pic). As soon as you pick up the stand, e.g, to dust under it, the pin falls out and you have to fiddle with it when you put it down again (see pic, more closely). I’d like to see something holding the pin into the notch: maybe a plastic spacer or nut and bolt?I’m using the stand with plenty of weight and more or less permanently installed, these design concerns are just hypothetical to me. I’ll leave it to someone who’s using the stand in a more mobile use or with a lighter payload to weigh in (see what I did there?) on how it works for them.
