Massive Upgrade
Having previously owned the Venu 2, this is a massive step up. The activity tracking is much easier to use, the built-in flashlight is indispensable, and the amount of health data available is both staggering and wonderful. The training load is a much easier and more accurate way to tell when I should be working out vs resting, a huge step up from body battery alone. The GPS also (anecdotally) seems quicker to connect. I live the week and a half battery life, something you can’t get on competitors like Samsung or Apple. It is well worth the money spent.

Excellent for health tracking, accurate sleep data, and great battery life
I’ve been using the Garmin Venu 4 daily for several weeks, and it’s easily one of the best smartwatches I’ve owned. The setup was simple and intuitive, and the interface is responsive and easy to navigate.I use it primarily for health and performance tracking, especially sleep data, heart rate, and recovery insights. The sleep tracking has been spot on, even distinguishing between REM, light, and deep sleep accurately. It’s helped me identify how my CPAP use and workouts affect my rest and overall energy. The Body Battery feature is surprisingly useful and aligns closely with how I actually feel day to day.The watch feels premium and fits comfortably on the wrist. I appreciate the slightly larger screen and clean layout of the data fields during workouts. Battery life is excellent; I typically get five to six days per charge with continuous tracking, notifications, and GPS use.Connectivity with my phone is solid, and syncing to Garmin Connect is quick and reliable. I also love that it pairs seamlessly with my fitness and nutrition tracking setup.Overall, the Garmin Venu 4 strikes a great balance between functionality, comfort, and battery life. If you care about accurate sleep analysis, reliable health data, and overall ease of use, it’s a fantastic choice. Highly recommended.I upgraded from a Venu 2, but a new user will find the experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend a screen protector, or hard shell case. This model relies significantly more on the touchscreen functionality instead of physical buttons, so a deep scratch could render your investment moot. Don’t skimp on this! I spent 15 bucks on a screen protector and its already paid for itself twice in two weeks of ownership, and I am very careful.

Amazing Fitness Watch
After more than 8 years with some version of a Fitbit Sense watch, I finally decided that Google was serious about killing the more serious Fitbit Smartwatches. I would have considered the Google Pixel, but it only works with Android phones, and I had just gotten the new iPhone. That left Garmin or the Apple Watch, and I chose the Garmin Venu 4 because I care more about the health and fitness aspects than all the more social/apps focused bells and whistles of the Apple Watch. I am thrilled with my Venu 4. Quite simply the best health and fitness watch out there. While I bought it for its health and fitness functionality, its other functions surprised me. It plays music as well as an Apple Watch, Pays as well as an Apple Watch, allows you to talk through it on your phone as well as an apple watch, and I never realized how much I needed a little high-powered flashlight on my watch until I had one. Twelve days of battery life also cannot be beat. It does not have the number of apps you would get with Apple. It is also amazingly comfortable, durable (I have banged the watch face against the corner of a table in my house almost weekly without any dents or breaking), and fits very well on my wrist. I have had it for about two months now and could not be happier.

I’m in love
I made the switch! Apple to Garmin girly now! The only thing I miss is how easy it was to call and text on my Apple Watch. Otherwise Garmin is superior in every way.You can turn some of the smart features off and get 8-10 days battery life. I often run with music and gps so going so I’m charging it every 3-4 days because of that. The venu 4 easily looks class with a nice watch band and then switches to sport mode in an instant.Light weight and very accurate stats. I love the training features and apps

Switched from AW 9 to Venu 4
I got this watch expecting something to help me track my workouts and sleep, and it’s been a solid companion so far. The display is bright and clear — I can easily glance at my heart rate or steps while running or doing errands. I really like the “Body Battery” and sleep insights because they feel meaningful, not just numbers. Battery life is excellent — I can go several days between charges. One surprise: the flashlight is actually super convenient. The other night we were out walking, and my kids ran into the grass — I used the watch light to spot where they were stepping. It’s small, but it came in handy. The watch is a little bulky, and some features can be more than I need, but overall it’s worth it for everyday fitness and family use.Pros- Bright, easy-to-read screen- Excellent battery life (lasts several days)- Reliable GPS and health tracking- Useful sleep and “Body Battery” insights- Flashlight is surprisingly practical for nighttime walksCons- Slightly bulky for a standard everyday watch- Premium price if you only need basic tracking- Some metrics can feel more advanced than necessary for casual users

Stunning, Functional, and Accurate
Hands down, this is the best watch I’ve ever owned—and absolutely stunning! I’ve tried Apple Watches and Samsung watches, but nothing compares to my Garmin Venu. It tracks exactly what I need, like accurate miles walked and run, without overcomplicating things like my previous watches did. On top of that, it comes loaded with health widgets that I use every day. And honestly, it looks gorgeous on my wrist. I couldn’t be happier with it!

The Garmin Venu 4 has been an absolutely fantastic watch. The build quality is great, the screen is crisp, and the battery life easily lasts through busy days and long workouts. What really stands out is how well it supports all types of activities—whether it’s strength training, running, cardio, or daily tracking, the metrics are accurate and super helpful. The workout features are easy to use, the heart-rate tracking is reliable, and the guided training options make staying consistent a lot easier. It also syncs smoothly with the app, giving you detailed breakdowns that actually feel useful, not overwhelming. If you’re looking for a high-quality fitness watch with excellent activity support and a premium feel, the Venu 4 is a great choice. I’m extremely happy with it.

I’ve used several smartwatches, but the Venu 4 is the first one that perfectly balances high-end fitness tech with a sleek, everyday look.
