Good purchase
This did the trick. I read one review saying you couldn’t turn off the lights but that’s inaccurate. All you do is hold the light button down for 3 seconds. Poof… off go the lights. This thing has plenty of fans and took care of my laptop overheating issues. I recommend it. I’ve been using it for about a year.

Great unit for the price!
This item works great to keep my Alienware laptop from overheating when using highly graphic applications. The fan noise is not very loud either. Lights do seem to come on at seemingly random times but I think it was largely related to my laptop power cycling (once I plugged the usb power source into a charging block instead of the laptop the issue was resolved.)

Great Cooling Pad — Just Needs USB-C Power!
I’ve been using the AICHESON AA3 Gaming Laptop Cooling Pad for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s a fantastic addition to my setup. The 8 powerful fans keep my 17-inch gaming laptop cool even during long gaming sessions, and the RGB lighting adds a nice aesthetic touch without being too flashy.The 7 adjustable height slots are a game-changer for ergonomics, especially if you’re working or gaming for hours. I also appreciate the dual USB ports, which help keep my desk a bit more organized.However, one thing that would make this product perfect is USB-C power support. In 2025, most of my devices have moved to USB-C, and it’s a bit inconvenient to still rely on USB-A for power. Adding USB-C would make this cooler more future-proof and compatible with modern setups.All in all, it’s a solid product that delivers on performance and design. Just hoping for a USB-C upgrade in the next version!

Terrible Noise coming from the motor * Replacement is quiet!
Edit:I ended up getting a replacement and it’s been amazing! The noise was definitely something from the motor because I wasn’t able to even tell if it was on. I forgot about it when I went to sleep. My thermals are low, around 85C when playing FarCry NewDawn on my asus g14 It used to run around 90~100C, so definitely some improvement. I would recommend it, just hope you don’t get one with a bad motor noise.When I opened this cooling pad, I liked it. It feels sturdy and well made. It is made out of plastic but it’s mainly from the bottom the actual grill is some sort of metal. The lights are cool, not too bright or too dim.Anyways, for what it is meant it is quite good. I used it with my gaming laptop and it brought down the temperatures from 90 to 85. I mainly just bought it for the stand as I don’t have an external monitor.Cons:The one thing that is a no buy for me is that the motor has a loud noise. As if the motor is not spinning correctly thus moving side to side. It’s pretty loud and it gets annoying after a while. I played games with headphones on so it’s not noticeable but for a movie or browsing it is obnoxious. For what it is, it should’t have this type of noise. That’s the thing the fan itself is much quieter. The motor makes this noise even when it’s spinning up.I wouldn’t recommend this product just for that.

it is unwieldingly, very think and the top being metal is interesting and the legs are a big plus. this is great if you use you’re laptop as a tower for gaming this perfect and it is quiet

Rattling after 6 months
Great cooler. However, after six months of daily use, two of the fans intermittently start to rattle very loudly. The only way to reset the rattling is to tip the cooling pad over and bang it on the desk; it works for a while, but not a great fix. I took it apart once, and it just seems that over time, the fan blades slip down slightly on their posts, which causes unbalancing and then the rattling sound.3/5 because it’s great outside of all the reasons why it’s not lol.

I found the product to be exactly as advertised. It’s sturdy enough to hold my 17” laptop, and the little tabs at the bottom keep it from slipping. The noise level of the fan at all 3 settings is not distracting or loud. The fans keep my laptop nice and cool. It’s great to have several options for the rgb light settings. The extra USB outlet is handy. It’s also very portable and not heavy.All in all, I am happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

RGB lighting feature is really good, especially for gamingBut the main thing is the cooling feature which works perfectly. I have a relatively old laptop which sometimes may increase temperature but now I have no issues at all, even when using it in Level 1, which is the lowest. It is not noisy at these levels, however it could be a bit noisy at higher level (up to six).Although for some this may be a problem, I have no issue at all and hence the five-star review
