I had my doubts…
This is a really fun tool to engage in spelling and grammar activities for my second graders. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and is super easy to use. I’ve now purchased a second game to use with this learning kit.

Perfect STEM game
I got this for my 5- and 8-year-old, and it was a hit! They both love STEM toys, and so do I, since they make learning fun while keeping those curious little brains engaged. This one did not disappoint—it turned math practice into an interactive and exciting game rather than just another lesson. One of the best features is the ability to select different difficulty levels, so both of my kids could find something suited to them. My younger one could start with the basics, while my older child got more of a challenge, making it a toy they can grow with. The combination of hands-on play and digital interaction kept them interested for much longer than I expected. If you’re looking for a fun, educational toy that actually holds kids’ attention while reinforcing math skills, this is a great choice. It’s a fantastic way to make learning feel like play!

Review for letters and storage only..
Watch pricing!Bought this just to use the letters portion for spelling time so review is for that half without app usage..Came in a huge box with the custom stickers already lifted off the box (yes possibly previously used), was surprised it was as small as it is based on box size/weight. It is comparable to like a pencil pouch in size, the letters sit in a slide out part for storage and then the top piece that holds individual letters flips up and down.Very easy to travel with and not worry about losing pieces because you can shut it up tight.

Perfect gift
My daughter’s favorite! She’s always playing games on her iPad and this was absolutely perfect for her. She enjoyed all of the games and for the price of it, you’d be surprised. I’d buy 100 of these games.

I’m a bit disappointed with this product.
To start, I want to add that I have an Android Tablet and not an iPad, so this may be an Android problem, too. But this game is supposedly compatible with the android tablet.I had high expectations for this Shifu Count game for my Kindergarten son. I thought it would be a fun game to help him learn, and although it may be fun for some, the Kindergarten age is not a good age to buy this game for.I think this game would be more suitable for a preschool aged kid. The addition in this game is SO SIMPLE. It makes me mad how simple it is, and you can’t make it harder. At least, when I try to it doesn’t increase the difficulty. My son isn’t old enough to do multiplication or division yet, so I’m hoping that it will be more useful when he is in first or second grade.I’m upset about this purchase, especially because of the price point and it not being up to scale for a Kindergartener. But also, the product itself has PLENTY OF BUGS. My son likes one of the games out of the 5 offered (they’re all basically the same game with a different background), and it glitched at times and abruptly ended at the end. No finish.I’m hopeful for this company that their other programs (music, STEM, etc.) are better and I’m willing to try those out, but as for this one:TL;DRDon’t buy this for your Kindergartener.Buy for your Pre-schooler for beginning addition and subtraction.Buy for your Kiddo learning multiplication and division.Expect bugs and glitches.Probably works better for an iPad than an android tablet.

Wow! Money Well Spent! Great Learning game for Teaching reading and Spelling!
Great job Plugo! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I bought this – the reviews were good but I wasn’t 100% confident this would work for us. I have a 5yr old, Kindergartener who needed a great game that he could use independently but still learn from. I’m both homeschooling and working during the game and I needed a viable solution to giving him work to do while I took calls or answered emails. I’m happy to say, this is it! It was easy to setup and use straight out the box. The letter tiles come in their own little storage drawer and the magnetic base sticks to the drawer. My son figured that out before I did! After registering, he jumped right into the first game. Easy Peasy. After watching him play for awhile (which was guided, yet still taught each word with fun animations), I left the room to take care of a few things. I was gone longer than anticipated but when I got back he was still happily playing. My son can have a short attention span at times. This game held his attention and I could also see he was getting better with each additional level. I am impressed! I think I have the perfect game for school this fall. Want one other tip? When I told him to put it away, he did it BY HIMSELF! I’m going to definitely look into buying the other games in this series.

Letters don’t register correctly
Great concept. However, some of the letters don’t register correctly. The ‘H’ registers as an ‘R’, and the ‘N’ registers as another letter. This makes it hard to complete words on the screen because they’re marked as wrong. It can be discouraging to kids because they think they’re not right or confuse them in the very least. I’m not sure how to correct this problem. But, that’s why they get only 3 stars. It also took a long time to set up on the iPad.
These are the best ever! I have wide feet and there’s are so comfortable. I never write reviews anywhere but these deserve it! –

Educational value:This is a great product to help kids engage with mathematics, starting from a pre-school level and increasing in depth as your child grows. The games are varied and engaging for children, although they can be a bit repetitive.Beyond the education aspect, the PlayShifu customer service is very impressive and responsive. Would definitely recommend to any parent.

Great for creating stressed out children. The insistence for an answer every 10 seconds or so is baffling software choice.
