TV Saved!
Had the Chromecast, but lost the remote. Thankful for this, as it it was easy to set up and allowed me to keep using the TV. All buttons and features function as they should without issue. Worth the price!

Works Great, Slightly Tricky to Pair
Once I got this replacement remote for my Chromecast (model G9N9N) set up, it worked like a champ. It didn’t even require me to program my Samsung TV — all the buttons worked straight out of the box, including power and volume.One thing worth noting is that the design is **identical** to the original Google remote. In the side-by-side picture, the original Google remote with the failed IR emitter is on the left and the replacement is on the right — and you can see they’re virtually the same in look and feel.My only reservation when purchasing was the price. This remote was **significantly cheaper** than other G9N9N replacements that looked identical, and I wasn’t sure if that meant sacrificing quality. Turns out the lower cost didn’t matter at all — performance has been excellent, **with the exception listed below**.The only minor hiccup was pairing. It took me three attempts before it finally connected, with the first two tries coming back unsuccessful. So if yours doesn’t pair immediately, don’t give up. Once it connects, it’s rock-solid.A definite 5 out of 5 stars.

It didn’t work at all. I was desperate and took a chance. Wrote a few others said the same. Not worth returning. Amazon take it down!

Three weeks in, it works great..I have a Chromecast with Google TV (HD, Snow) My original remote got lost in the abyss.. This was the date of purchase, the cheapest optionMake sure your device matches the one listed. I know it can get confusing. Just use Google’s AI Gemini to help They do include instructions that are easy to read, pleasant surprise . I have attached them here.In the Google TV app just go the Bluetooth section.Btw, you can use your phone or tablet on a pinch

It’s cool for a replacement
It works but not as well as the original. It sometimes behaves like it has to be waken up. But as a replacement it gets the job done period
