Is this case compatible with all iPhone 17 models?
This case is only fully compatible with the standard iPhone 17.Due to differences in size and camera module design, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max are NOT fully compatible and may experience camera misalignment or sealing issues.

Is this case safe for snorkeling or diving?

We recommend performing a water-only leak test before each use and ensuring all locks are fully secured.
Should I test the case before using it underwater?

Great product!
Captured some great photos during two 15 meter dives in the Red Sea. My phone was completely dry. I recommended this case to several of my travel companions.

Nice device for underwater pictures with iPhone
I tried this out at the lake with an iPhone 15 Pro.Once you insert the phone you’re not using the touch screen. But that is typical, in the past I have used the cheap plastic $10 waterproof cases and touchscreen does not work under water. The instructions for this were well done and easy to follow. I simply snapped off the remote & charged it with a USB-C cable. It charged rather fast. Snapped right back in place and seemed secure. You do have to go into Accessibility for the remote to use the zoom properly. This was easy to do… but when the phone zooms in I had to google the 3 finger double tap method to zoom out – that’s iOS however and not this device. The plastic camera and screen coverings were protected with peel away plastic. I am concerned that the camera cover plastic could get scratched over time so we’ll need to store it in the box. It did come with a soft wipe to clean the cover. The phone slid in place easily – this is well thought out to handle phones with slightly different dimensions. I like that you screw the top shut to make sure to secure the phone. The strap tightens around your wrist and has a thick section for padding – nice touch. The remote control is easy to use and intuitive.I like to take my phone kayaking and take pictures… I’m not sure that this would work so well for a multi-hour kayak as the phone screen needs to be on when you insert it. But a dive or keeping it underwater for a photo session would be perfect.Disclaimer: yes I ordered this from Vine Voices, but I buy products on Amazon weekly and I’m pretty picky about price vs. quality so I’m writing this review as if I spent my own hard-earned money on this item.

Better than expected!
My review is for Universal Underwater Phone Diving Case with Bluetooth Controller, IP68 50FT Waterproof for iPhone 17 (Standard Only), iPhone 16/15/14/13/12/11 & Galaxy S24/S23/S22, BlackBetter than expected! On a recent trip to Hawaii I wanted a case for my iPhone so that I could try some underwater shots. There is some initial set up needed in order to use the remote. Once your phone is in the case, your touch-screen won’t really work.My phone fit well enough. Paracord wrist strap is a great addition. Overall, I’m happy with this order and the universality of the case. I would order again.

Cruise Ready! My Phone’s New Underwater BFF
So, we’re heading on a cruise soon, and I’ve been eyeing ways to capture those amazing ocean views without risking my phone. I stumbled upon this universal waterproof pouch, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer! It fits my phone (which is pretty big, by the way, up to 6.9 inches) with room to spare. The peace of mind knowing it can go up to 50 feet underwater is fantastic. I’m not exactly planning any deep-sea scuba dives, but for snorkeling and just goofing around in the shallow end of the ocean, this definitely feels like it’ll keep my device safe and dry. What really sealed the deal for me was the included Bluetooth remote. No more fumbling to press the screen underwater, which is a nightmare even with a regular waterproof case. This little remote is going to make snapping photos and videos so much easier and more natural. I’ve already tested it out in the sink, and it synced up instantly. I can picture myself holding this pouch out while floating and getting some truly unique shots of fish or just the beautiful turquoise water without worrying about dropping my phone.Honestly, for the price point and the functionality, this is a must-have for any upcoming water-based adventures. It feels really well-made, and the seal seems secure. I’m already excited to put it to the test on our cruise and bring back some incredible memories (and photos!) from under the waves. If you’re looking for a reliable way to protect your phone and get some cool underwater shots, I’d definitely recommend checking this out.

iPhone 17 Pro Doesn’t quite fit.
iPhone 17 Pro camera does not quite fit. You can get it into the case, but then it requires a butter knife to pry it out, which scratches your iPhone. The button controls only partially worked. You can take a photo with it, so I suppose that warrants two stars instead of one. But I would not recommend this product for iPhone 17 Pro.

Decent for Light Use
Not bad for the price – you really can’t expect much for $50. I mainly bought it to add extra protection for my phone underwater and for a better grip while snorkeling. It’s all plastic, so durability isn’t its strong suit, and I wouldn’t trust it beyond a few feet deep. Good for casual underwater shots, but not for serious diving.

Sturdy, innovative design to allow you to take your phone underwater as a camera.
Versatile waterproof case for a variety of phones. I used it with my iPhone 16 Pro. You open the side cover (which has a thumb screw to keep it secure, then pull out the clear piece. Attach the clear piece to your phone using the suction cups. Then all you have to do is slide it all into the case and screw it secure. The only issue I ran into with installing my phone is the camera lenses on my phone stick up a bit and caught the opening of the case slightly. Once installed the phone can move around inside if it comes unsecure from the suction cups, you really have to press them down hard to get them to stick. Once inside you have limited control of your phone so you need to make sure it’s on, unlocked, and turn the screen saver etc off. You control your phone camera via the bluetooth controller on top of the case, which is held in place via magnets to remove if needed. The bluetooth controller worked well, allows you to turn on camera, switch between camera modes, such as video/photo etc, allows you to zoom in and out and acts as the shutter button. The gasket on the case door is thick and gives it a good seal. Comes with a nice paracord lanyard to keep it secure on your wrist while in the water. The case has a tripod screw mount on the bottom to allow you to attach it to a selfie stick etc. The case adds a layer of protection to your phone if you want to use it underwater, as well as a secure way to maintain control of it.

I got this 50ft/15m waterproof diving phone case for snorkeling and shallow underwater photos, and overall it works really well — especially for the price. It gives me peace of mind that my phone is protected while still letting me capture underwater shots. What I Like:Reliable Waterproofing: I’ve used it for snorkeling and shallow dives, and no water has gotten inside. The seal feels secure once locked, and the case gives good confidence when fully submerged.Bluetooth Shutter Button: Super convenient for taking photos or videos without touching the screen. It makes underwater shooting much easier.Fits A Lot of Phones: Nice that it works with many iPhone and Samsung models, so I can keep using it even if I upgrade.Clear Front & Back Windows: The camera quality is surprisingly good underwater — no major distortion or blurriness, especially in bright conditions.Good Grip & Build: Easy to hold onto while swimming, and the buttons feel firm and durable. What Could Be Better:Bluetooth Can Be Slow Underwater: It works, but there can be a slight lag when fully submerged, especially deeper than a few feet. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you’re trying to capture fast‑moving fish.Bulkier Than Expected: Understandable for waterproof housing, but it makes the phone heavier in hand.Needs Rinsing After Saltwater: The latch can get stiff if not rinsed well — normal for gear used in the ocean.Overall, this is a solid waterproof case for snorkeling, beach trips, pool photos, or shallow diving. Great protection, easy to use, and perfect for travelers who want underwater photos without buying a separate camera.

First off, the primary job of the YUECHCASES waterproof phone case: keeping my phone dry. It succeeded. The case feels sturdy, with a hard shell and thick silicone seals that lock tightly. I am confident enough to take it down to maybe 10-12 feet while snorkeling. The included Bluetooth remote shutter is good. It easily paired with my phone and let me take photos and start/stop videos without fumbling with the screen. For the main purpose of capturing underwater moments hands-free, it’s excellent. The lens clarity is decent. My photos and videos were much clearer than I expected, with good color and minimal distortion from the case window. The “Touchscreen” misunderstanding was my biggest gripe. The product description heavily implies you can use your touchscreen underwater. In reality, it’s virtually impossible. Once submerged, the screen becomes completely unresponsive. If you plan to swipe through apps or change settings underwater, this isn’t the case for you. Also, it’s bulky…. as expected for a diving case, and the buttons are a bit stiff but manageable.Practical Tips from Experience1. Test First, always: I religiously followed the advice to do a dry test with a paper towel inside before every use. It’s essential for peace of mind.2. Forget the screen protector: I had to remove my thin screen protector because the case wouldn’t seal properly.3. Rinse after use: a quick rinse in fresh water after swimming in the ocean is a must to keep the seals and moving parts clean.

50ft/15m Waterproof Phone Case with Bluetooth Control for iPhone 16/15/14/13/12/11 Pro/Pro Max/XS/X, and Samsung Galaxy S24/S23/S22/S21 – Underwater Photo and Video Housing BlackThis is a really nice heavy-duty underwater phone holder. By no means it this your typical waterproof phone case. Rather, this is a quality waterproof phone holder that one would think to normally be found in a specialty scuba diving/surfer shop. I have always wanted to be able to take underwater photos with friends using my phone, as it looks like it would be so much fun to do. However, whenever I had seen waterproof phone cases in the past, I was never quite sold on their waterproof capabilities. So, once I discovered this professional looking made for scuba diving case, I was finally sold on the idea of venturing underwater with my phone.• I tested the control functions using a Samsung model that is recommended for use with this case. All the Bluetooth controller button functions worked just as described/outlined in the user manual. I also tested an older Samsung model that was not included in the recommended for use with this case list. The older Samsung model did work with this case, but the controller button functions did not have the same effect. With the older Samsung phone model, I was still able to take photographs, and switch between the photo and video function. • The controller button is detachable, and it uses a magnet to connect back into place. Though, I do not foresee myself using this controller when it is not connected to the base of the holder. I would be nervous of losing grasp of it, and dropping/letting go of it while in the water. I can see how this could be a handy option for some. Specifically, when utilizing the included lanyard to carry the case around your neck, thus allowing you to swim freely snapping candid photos as you swim.• Holding this case feels sturdy and secure. It has an ergonomically designed curvature shape for gripping this case with your right hand. If you are left-handed, this case may take a little getting used to holding and snapping pictures. This is where the removable controller would come in handy, as if you are left-handed, you could turn this case upside down, and then use the controller separately in your opposite hand.• I did need to remove my current phone case in order for my phone to properly fit into this waterproof case. This underwater holder does have an open pocket design, but it was not large enough to accommodate my full-body phone case. Depending on the model of phone, and the style of case that is being used, one may be able to leave their phone case on when using this product. I do find it inconvenient removing and putting my phone case back on, but I realize that this underwater holder is to act as a case in itself. The only thing about that is, this waterproof case does not allow for touch-screen use. Rendering this waterproof holder to function solely for capturing photos and videos. So, when I am done taking photos and videos, and I have removed my phone from this waterproof case for use, my phone is then left unprotected. • I found it extremely easy to setup my phone, and to get started using this diving case. To insert my phone into the case, I simply had to untwist one screw lock seal. It was that easy. I then opened the water/air tight latch, and inserted my phone. There is a tray that had little suction cups attached to it that slides in and out. You press and attach your phone onto the suction cups, and then slide the tray back into place before closing the latch, and sealing. Pairing my phone was as easy as holding down one button, and opening up my phones Bluetooth scanner.• The photos I took when using this case look good. The clear casing does not diminish or hinder the picture quality in my opinion.I am grateful to have discovered this underwater case. It being universal is such a huge perk for me, as I am able to use it with my older phones, too. This is a really cool product for capturing your water sport moments. From scuba diving, to splashing around with friends, to going on an underwater adventure, you can be sure that this is the perfect product for capturing all your water filled moments.

I picked this up specifically for a vacation in the Caribbean, mostly for snorkeling and time in the water where I didn’t want to risk my phone. From a build standpoint, it feels dependable right away. The housing is solid and weighty, not cheap or flimsy, and once the phone is locked inside, it feels well protected. The seals looked clean and intact, and after multiple ocean swims and pool use, there was no water intrusion at all.The buttons worked better than I expected, even underwater. There’s resistance, but it’s consistent, and I was able to navigate the phone and trigger photos without struggling. The Bluetooth remote paired without issues and ended up being more useful than I thought. Holding the case steady while snorkeling and snapping photos with the remote made a noticeable difference, especially when waves or current made it harder to keep still. Photos came out clear, and the lens area didn’t introduce fogging or blur.Fit was snug for my phone without feeling forced. Once closed, the latch stayed secure throughout the trip and never loosened. The wrist strap was also reassuring when swimming in open water. The case is definitely bulky, but that’s expected for something rated for deeper water, and it wasn’t awkward to handle while floating or swimming along reefs. The main frustration came during setup. The instructions included are very limited and mostly diagram-based. There isn’t much explanation around the initial setup, Bluetooth pairing, or how to confidently confirm the seal before getting in the water. I figured it out, but it involved a bit of trial and double-checking that could’ve been avoided with clearer guidance. Anyone familiar with waterproof housings will manage fine, but first-time users may feel unsure at the start.Once everything was set up, the case performed consistently for the rest of the vacation. I trusted it in saltwater, used it daily, and didn’t have to worry about my phone. The lack of detailed instructions slowed the beginning, but the actual performance made up for it. For snorkeling, beach days, and casual underwater photos on a Caribbean trip, it did exactly what I needed and held up well through repeated use.

This is far superior to the typical smart phone ‘zip lock’ style diving cases – its a proper solid bodied sealed unit, with bluetooth control of your phone – which actually works underwater (unlike touch screen control). We used this on a recent vacation, snorkelling down to about 10m in the caribean. The salt water had no adverse affect on the function -and after a week of use (without really putting much effort into rinsing it off) no evidence of salt damage or corrrosion. The top closure is really well designed, with a stiff rigid lid using multiple sealing surfaces – all locked down by a fool proof stainless steel screw. No risk of the lid popping open or coming loose underwater. On top of that, with my iPhone16 – the balance is actually pretty good, its almost neutral boyancy. Regardless, it comes with a nice wrist strap to keep it secure, and its still compact enough to fit into a pocket or pouch. For the price, I’m surprised how well it performs. I certainly wouldn’t entrust my spmart phone investment to anything less!
