Great laptop for a writer
Great laptop. Good value for the money. I bought this because I am a professional writer and I especially like the quality keyboard and screen. This laptop is a pleasure to do my work on.

Envío a ecuador, fatal!

Not for Photo Processing
This showed up on a list somewhere as a good laptop for running Lightroom for photo processing. I had an older Lenovo ThinkPad that worked well for me and I thought this was an upgrade. It looked like a good deal, but it is not capable of handling Lightroom with 16 GB of memory and 4 of it dedicated to the onboard graphics. Constantly ran at >95% on memory usage making it very slow. I had to restart the program about every 30 minutes just to get it to work at all. I should have researched a little more before getting a system with only 16 GB. I don’t think it’s upgradeable either. Probably a good basic computer, but not for anything intensive. I’m returning it for a different system.

sleeper hit of the Intel Ultrabooks with great battery life
This is the sleeper hit for long lasting battery with a processor strong enough to be speedy. where to begin? The OLED screen is touch sensitive and gorgeous. it does have some glare like all oleds, but you can get it glare filter and it still looks absolutely stunning and bright. You can easily get 10 to 12 hours of business work, web browsing, and many people record much longer watching videos. It’s very light for what it is and thin. It’s about 2.8 pounds, just like competitors, but the build quality is excellent. two thunderbolt ports. a MicroSD card slot. a very small footprint. a great full size keyboard. a decent track pad. and in my opinion, the most efficient and strongest Intel processor if you’re looking for maximum battery, life. word processing and web browsing should easily exceed 12 hours. If you looking for gaming, this probably isn’t the laptop for you even though it does perform admirably for what it is. But that it’s not what it is designed to do. for the current price, this is a superb value and I love it.

Very impressed, great for work, decent for gaming
In my long IT career, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a lot of different manufacturer laptops, and a lot of commonality comes around. Lenovo, to me, typically was a really well performing laptop, solidly built (minimum of creaking hinges/frames/screens), densely put together (ie. there’s no wasted space between ports and buttons, tolerances are kept tight) and this laptop is no different. Lenovo also has a bad habit of under-equipping on RAM (and the tight quarters of the interior typically prevent expanding), and being a bit heavy due to their packing so much in. They also tend to be on the higher-end when it comes to pricing. All that being said, I’m extremely happy with this laptop, and I’d snatch it up at discount if one comes up. The OLED screen is gorgious. Is it a bit overkill for a 14″ screen? Perhaps, but its image is breathtaking for streaming movies and playing triple-A type games (Resident Evil represents very well on this machine, and performs great). The OLED also helps keep my eyes from getting fatigued of several hours of work –dark theme Office or not. The keyboard has great travel, which is typical for Lenovo, and I’ve had no issues with the touchpad. It’s very responsive. The Aurora moniker/model is simply some extra features they throw in with the CoPilot button on the keyboard. I don’t necessarily think it’s worth much more than it’s a cool model name.Battery life has been outstanding for the work day (all day in Office 365 apps, Teams conferences, IT Operations case management in the Edge browser with literally dozens of tabs open). Gaming after work does require me to keep it plugged in (maybe 3,5 hours gaming off battery, closer to 3). Also it will really kick the heat out during gaming (not so much during work app usage), but the fans are nearly silent even when you can feel them pushing serious heat out.As I mentioned earlier, Lenovo likes to overcharge a bit and discount directly or through various sales, so as a value proposition, this is a great device and has been my daily work machine (gaming too, if I’m traveling), but to buy it again, I’d look for it on sale.
