Excellent Tripod Mount – Versatile and Sturdy!
This NEEWER Basics Magnetic Phone Tripod Mount is absolutely fantastic! The 360° ball head provides incredible flexibility for perfect angle adjustments. Strong magnet works as described
Got this to hold my phone in my car and I needed something that will not fall down and hold the phone securely. This mag mount works great and for the money, it’s terrific value and being on a double end ball mount. I can adjust the mount to suit my needs and where my eye is at if I do need to glance down on the phone.

Solid Good for Non-Stress Uses
Does job for non-stress purposes -quick tripod photos vs high stress purposes ie attaching to bike handle for videos. The mag strength is enough, but not over the top. Comes with an adhesive metal cut out which I put on my basic 11 inch IPad case. Works, again for basic, non-stress jobs.

Odd mounting hole without other parts.
This year Colorado updated the law about not holding a mobile phone while driving. Before if a law enforcer pulled you over for another issue it could be added on that you were using a mobile device at the time. Now it is a primary reason for pulling someone over. Because of this change I thought I should update my phone mount. I use a pretty simple solution with a UTEBIT Adjustable Magic Arm with Super Clamp (Amazon item 1740138841) and a manual tripod clamp. This worked well but took a few seconds to place the phone and grab it back. Having MagSafe on my phone meant I didn’t need to use this clamp any more. The NEEWER iPhone tripod mount adapter works perfect with this setup. I had to make a few adjustments to the magic arm clamp to make it fit properly, and it bottomed out the thread just before it was tight enough but that was easily fixed with some locktite. Now when I get in or out of the car I just pop the phone off the mount and go.Not sure how well it would work as tripod mount without a few more pieces. If you were to mount it directly on the head your phone would be pointed straight down. So you’d have to have a head that can rotate 90º easily and it would be awkward to get smooth movement.

It has a great cling. I have an iPhone 16ProMax and it holds it no problem. I bought a tripod thinking it mounted with a MagSafe but I was wrong and so I bought this accessory to fix my mistake and I am more than pleased with the performance. This product was one of the least expensive accessories that solved my issue.

It’s nice and works really well. Shame i got a a damaged leather on it 🙁
