cannot connect to Wi-Fi at all—you’re forced to use an Ethernet cable.this is a non-certified Android/Google TV box, which means you cannot install major apps like YouTube TV or Netflix.Even when connected through Ethernet, the performance is terrible. Internet speed is very slow, and switching between apps takes far too long.Overall, this box is completely worthless and a waste of money. Amazon should discontinue selling this product on their site.

The process started off well, but in many cases, the apps froze from going from one to another… I was hoping this would be close to the Mecool… but not at all!!!

Not easy to set up, maybe needs a smarter owner
I chose this one because it was white, different from the usual black box. I am pretty techy & handy, read all the reviews positive & negative. Also searched online for reviews, all seemed okay 50/50. Received and set up – HDMI to HDMI, AC to wall plug, put batteries in the remote. Selected HDMI port, screen shows no signal. Menu button on remote did nothing, home got me a bar at the top saying guest. No other buttons worked. Turned off and unplugged tv & box, re-plugged all back together. Same messages, “guest” bar does not even come up. Changed HDMI ports, looked for soft reset on box. Searched online for troubleshooting, reviews, instructions. Gave up, put away, tried the next day – same. Gave up, put away, tried the next day. Gave up, ordered a different box, set up return/refund. I don’t know what else to say

No WiFi connection, a non certified android google tv box.
Do not buy this tv box. First, no WiFi connection (need an Ethernet connection). I have WiFi 6 with Google fiber and this is the only device non capable to connect to my network. Second, this box is a non-certified android google tv box. No way to install YouTube TV or Netflix due to this issue. Once you connected through Ethernet the speed is very slowly and to switch between one app to another take too much time. This box is worthless.

Very good box, but it takes time to set up.
I purchased this box because I like to side-load apks, and the sticks and cubes are starting to delete these files. An inexpensive Android box does not have this issue. I chose this particular box because it has a remote that can be connected via Bluetooth. Most of the cheap China boxes just have an inferred remote that must be pointed at the box to work. So, that is a nice feature about this box. The box functions perfectly, but not out of the box, so to speak. You need to adjust several of the settings to get it to work correctly. This is the case with all of these boxes. They get bad reviews because they are not set up correctly. None of these cheap boxes are plug and play. You need to search for a video on how to properly set them up. If you get the settings right, then you will love this box. Otherwise, you may not think much of it. I took a star away for 2 reasons. First, I kept getting a screen that came up when I was trying set up the box. It wanted permission to share information with the manufacturer. There was no way to approve or disapprove this, so I could not get past that screen. I finally managed to do it, but I don’t know how. That said, it is possible that the problem was my TV. I just don’t know. So, I suggest that you carefully unpack the box because you may need to return it if you get this screen and you can’t get past it. The second reason for removing one star is that it does not have a voice remote. You can’t talk into the remote to do a search, so you need to enter each letter in the search bar one at a time. I solved this by purchasing a remote with a keypad. Now I can just type it in. The keypad remote does not work for everything, so this box requires two remotes to function well. My wife finds it complicated, and truthfully, the F-boxes are way more user-friendly. The Android boxes have way more memory, but the F-boxes are much easier to use. If they hadn’t started deleting my apks, I would just stick with them. The bottom line is that you should only buy one of these if you want to sideload apks and you are willing to invest the time to set up the box correctly. If you are someone who wants a simple plug-and-play box, then the F-boxes are your best bet.
