The perfect place to start learning about ChatGBT and LLMs in general
This book is a perfect place to start learning about ChatGBT and LLMs in general. It breaks down foundational knowledge of how and why GBT works the way it does without getting too in the weeds, quickly moving into very useful information on prompt structure for different use cases. I saw other reviews saying that this didn’t give enough ‘real world’ examples, but I didn’t find this to be the case at all. Every concept or use-case that is introduced is accompanied by an example beginner-friendly scenario, as well as hands-on mini-assignments for those who learn by doing.The writing itself is very concise and clear without seeming overly simplistic. The structure leads the reading through increasingly complex topics that feels like a natural progression. Overall, this is a great book. Highly recommend!The only criticism I have is that I wish that the cover was better and less AI generated-looking. As a designer, I almost didn’t pick this up because of the generic cover, but decided to give it a try (which I’m glad I did!). I imagine that I’m not the only one to feel this way. A book this useful should have a professional-looking cover that lends credibility to it’s content!

Very practical, concise, and easy to follow.
I have been using ChatGPT for months now, but I was never fully aware of its many abilities. This book was just what I needed to help me get more out of the AI app I am paying for. It’s been updated to include ChatGPT 5 and written in simple, non-technical jargon. I was happy to learn it could even help me set up my exercise program. The book starts with the basics, like how to word your prompts, to writing or responding to emails, and then moves up to using it for blogging or creating your own business. It’s very practical, concise, and easy to follow, with examples.

I enjoyed reading this book on learning ChatGPT. I play around with it, but have no idea what I am doing. (Blame it on being Gen X) This book gave me insight I hadn’t thought about before. I had no idea about half the things you can do with ChatGPT. Usually, I just talk to it to get ideas, but now I can start prompting it the right way. It is well written and not bogged down with all this techno talk. If you are like me, clueless about AI tech, give it a try.

Not terribly informative, book was partially written by ChatGPT
This is truly a beginners book, and not a terribly good one at that. Perhaps I went into this book expecting too much, but was generally underwhelmed. Big thing I wanted to review was how to create a GPT, which was not covered by the book at all.The most useful thing was the list of 200 prompts, but even then, there was very little discussion on how to create a more complex, nuanced prompt that will return needed information.Long story short, if I could return this book I would, but Kindle does not allow for refunds.
