Great Linux game emulator
I revisited the RG35XX H this fall after flashing GarlicOS 1.5 and the little Linux handheld still punches way above its price. The laminated 3.5″ IPS panel is genuinely crisp, and the H700 plus 1GB of RAM keeps PS1 and 16-bit cores locked at full speed while my nightly sync job copies save states over 5 GHz WiFi. ANBERNIC continues to ship a 64GB card packed with thousands of ROMs; I wipe it for my own dumps, but the dual microSD slots make juggling firmware and a clean library painless. Real-world battery life lands around 4 hours with WiFi on, so I tuck a 10,000 mAh pack in the bag, yet the ergonomics and the surprisingly snappy low-profile sticks make this the retro handheld I reach for first when I want to speed-run Symphony of the Night on the couch.

Super Fun. Great little Handheld that fits in a pocket easily but not too small where its unplayable. Plays up PSP games well. Some games already loaded on. Easy to add your own. Was my first time with these types of console it was a great start. Good build quality and battery life. Buttons feel sturdy. Screen looks great. Sound quality is good but no Bluetooth connectivity lkke android so you may need wired earbuds. Great for beginners to emulation consoles

Won’t power on after a day
I have had my rg35xx plus for one day and now it will not even turn on even after charging overnight I know it’s not just an sd card issue I also used a Sandisk ultra loaded with MuOs and have been having the same issues. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement.

Cute small device, but needs improvements
I like the idea of a small gameboy-like emulator that can play games between the NES and PS1, however, there are a few flaws I have had when I received it.First, navigating the menus are confusing because the button functions are different in each category. For example, in the Game Emulator menu, the “Back” button is START, but when in the Media menu, the “Back” function is START + SELECT and the device does not give clear instructions what to press.Secondly, although it has a Huge selection of games, I have noticed that a lot of them (I have not tested all of them yet) are in Japanese, even if you choose the English options for both the device and/or the games language upon boot-up. This makes playing some games, like the Final Fantasy series confusing because I cannot read Japanese. I had to uninstall these games and download English versions of the games and reinstalled them.Thirdly, I have noticed that while playing for extended times, the device itself tends to get a bit hot. I’m worried that it might get hot enough to burn tiny hands. However, I have noticed that if you reduce the Brightness and Volume levels, it does not warm up as quickly. Just something to note.The device is good but again, could use some improvements. Overall, I would rate this at a 6/10. A good buy, but not a priority.

Good value, Solid handheld
Very nice and solid with all the bells and whistles Bluetooth, HDMI out 2 USB C’s. 2 micro SD card slots I dropped the stock OS for Knulli OS. I prefer this over the miyoonmini plus that I had earlier. Not listed butThis unit will do PS1, N64,Dreamcast, pspp and sega Saturn although not 100. But it has played everything I’ve thrown at it so far.

This retro gaming device can process games up to the PS1 era. It is not a next-generation gaming device. In fact, most modern smartphones have better graphics and gameplay, but that is not what I was looking for. This device is perfect for me since I will be taking it camping and on road trips where the internet will not be available. The game library has many nostalgic titles. The controls feel solid, but the button placement and sensitivity take some getting used to. Dual memory card slots are a nice feature, and I will be testing Bluetooth controller and TV connectivity soon. Be warned, the instructions are lackluster, but there are plenty of videos online on how to configure and tinker with it so you can get everything just right.I am definitely more impressed than I thought I would be pre-purchase.

Awesome device for SNES/GBA era games
This device is awesome for retro games! I’ve been replaying my favorite SNES games and catching up on GBA games that I missed. It has single-handedly revived my passion for classic video games. I can’t say enough good things about this little handheld so if you’re looking for something to play your childhood favorites, just get this!
