Best of the ACT prep books.
This was by FAR the most useful of all our ACT prep books. My daughter has used several, trying to bring up her super score. She felt like this one was the best, with great strategies and really good prep content.Full disclosure- she’s a great student, pretty good test-taker, trying to get into a few Ivies. But this book really stood out.

Outdated content
BEWARE: This book is now outdated. The 2026 ACT is implementing several changes, and “2026” technically starts September of 2025. I bought several copies for students, but can no longer return. BUMMED and out quite a bit of money.

Princeton Review Disappoints Again
Don’t waste your money on this. Princeton review claims to show the new, enhanced ACT on this, but there is zero, I repeat zero information in this book about the new ACT that isn’t on the ACT’s Website.Despite what it says about having practice questions from the new ACT, there is nothing on here about that. This is completely false advertising. It’s disappointing that the Princeton Review would resort to this and try to deceive customers.

NOT relative — OLD TESTS
NOT reflective of the enhanced ACT. Misleading advertising. Useless for practice! Shame on you Princeton!

Not new format at all
I was excited about having access to the new ACT format but I was wrong. The tests in the book and online are the current format, not the new version. Waste of time so I returned it.
