Great performing and well built but has a few short-comings.
The laptop cooling pad came packaged securely in a very professional manner. It looks to be well made and sturdy although not exactly top of the line material. There is a metal perforated mesh covering the top which provides a sturdy platform for the laptop to rest on while also allowing air to be blown onto the bottom intake fans on the computer. The mesh is secured by several tabs which are bent over the plastic frame. Not exactly top shelf but effective. The plastic has a lot of sharp edges. Actually every edge on this pad is rather sharp. Some of the plastic edges are an actual cut hazard. This pad feels tough though, and well made. The fans are arranged in a well spaced manner and are surprisingly quiet even at their top setting. They push a considerable amount of air too. At their lowest setting these fans are nearly inaudible. The fans performance are definitely the high point of this cooling pad. Their appearance however, is rather shabby. The blue light attached to them seems like an after thought and the company couldn’t even bother to align all the fans in the same direction so the light was on the same side. Looks rather cheap to be honest. The back has two usb plug-ins and a dial. You pretty much have to guess which usb is to power the fans because there is no markings indicating which is which. The dial works as intended but honestly is another cheap feeling feature of the pad. Works but is bare bones.I found it pretty funny they put a lifetime warranty on the “power” cord. They mean the usb cord that everybody has an entire drawer full of. Weird. I also found it humorous their Amazon page presented this product as being marked down from 89.95 (80% off!). Ridiculous. The price it’s at is the price it should be.This cooling pad does feel like a purchase i will put to use and will last. It definitely isn’t the prettiest or the nicest but it has a great price and the performance of the fans make up for any short comings of the build. The sharp edges are the biggest problem. I can see prolonged use on a lap as a problem. Overall I would buy this for a desk setting and be very happy with it but not at any price above what it cost.

Does not work with USB C
Does not work with MacBook. I’m using a USB C to USB A cable. Nothing happens

More of a lap-saver than a laptop cooler, but I still think it’s pretty good.
The fans do not blow very hard on this pad, and I think that’s a pretty good engineering decision. The cooling potential of this device depends a lot on the airflow design of your laptop. If the bottom of your laptop is flat metal (like a Macbook), this should work great! Lots of surface contact with a thermally conductive material means a light breeze can carry heat away. If the bottom of your laptop is plastic, this will work less well.If the bottom of your laptop has fans/air vents for cooling, then it gets complicated. Some designs are engineered to the specific wind speed it expects, and faster wind speeds might mean less cooling potential. That’s also not taking into account laptops where the heat is dumped out the bottom of the laptop. Maybe the fans dissipate that heat better, maybe it just pushes against the fan and pushes some of that heat back into the computer. Hard to say. This is why I think the gentle breeze instead of a strong gust is a pretty good design choice. If your laptop is built to be good with this sort of thing, a gentle breeze will work fine. If your laptop’s cooling makes this cooling pad less effective, then the wind is gentle enough to not be a problem.Plus, it’s very quiet! I thought it wasn’t doing anything at first, because I couldn’t hear it. Had to turn it up almost to maximum speed to hear the fans, and even then, my own laptop is still louder. My only real gripe is that I wish there was a spot to put the phone holder and the USB cable when it’s folded up.

A Cooling Pad That Finally Keeps Up With My Laptop
I got this cooling pad after my laptop started sounding like it was preparing for takeoff every time I opened a game or even just too many tabs. I have tried a few cooling pads before, but most of them felt like they were blowing air for the sake of showing off pretty LEDs. This one actually moves air in a way that makes a difference. The six fans run surprisingly quiet. I kept waiting for the usual jet engine noise, but it stayed under control even at higher speeds. The metal mesh also seems to help with airflow since the laptop stays warm instead of scorching hot. I like that the height can be adjusted because it saves my neck when I end up working longer than planned. The built in phone holder is a small touch, but I ended up using it more than I expected. The only thing I would change is the USB cable length, which could be a little longer. Overall, this is a solid and effective cooling pad that is easy to carry and easy to use.
