No one should be without one!
I have had a Jeanie Rub massager for 24 years and it held up all that time. My mom had hers for 23 years and it finally broke. I think mine is getting ready to give out so I bought a new one because I love it and do not want to live without it. The new one has variable speed and has more power options. The new one is also quieter. I have foot issues and could barely walk and the only shoes I can wear are my crocs and this massager has been miraculous in improving my feet. Before I was using it on my feet I was starting to worry that I would no longer be able to work, but this has made the burning pain go away. I also have carpal tunnel syndrome and this works amazing at helping heal the flare ups if I use it multiple times a day and/or many days in a row. I find that the optimal improvements from use come from using it while laying in bed just before going to sleep so it has increased circulation to the problem area and then allows for faster healing. I use it on the same problem area until it has stopped hurting and becomes numb and then I can really feel the blood pumping to the area. I use this massager now on any area that is sore or inflamed and when I fell and injured my knee cap I ran it immediately on my knee and had no aching or soreness that I have had in the past with similar injury. Also, I had bursitis in my shoulder and it helped with that and my hip when I pulled my hip out of the hip socket. It works for everything! I am a firm believer in the amazing power of massage and it helps keeps you young! This brand of massager is built to last based on the prior ones we had and it is a great product! Yes, when you first start using it it has a smell of oil or grease that is used on its internal parts but that goes away and what do you expect for something built to last it had to be made this way! Also it makes your hands get numb easily at first when using it, but this goes away after several sessions of using the massager. Your hands become immune to the tingle and numbness. The itchy feeling goes away also, this is just from the increased blood flow that your skin is not used to. Also when my son came to me and said something is wrong with his hand and it’s been numb and tingly for weeks I said “let me massage your arm multiple times during the day and see what happens” . Within 2 days the problem was gone! He had been really worried and scared about what could be going on and would need a doctor appointment but Jeanie Rub to the rescue! It is a well made sturdy and awesomely useful product and I LOVE IT! No one should be without one and don’t be a whiner and say you cant use it on yourself, I can reach almost any part of my back with it if I position it right on the bed and use a pillow to keep it from sliding off the bed! Use it often and generously on any aching body part and it will be the best thing you could do for your body and circulation!

Great home massager
This is a powerful machine, with varying speed control. I can massage my thighs and calfs of my legs by myself. Partner is really needed for back and backs of legs. You can hold it lightly… don’t have to push down on it. Highly recommend if you have another person to use it with. I was trying to use it myself for massaging bottom of feet… divine when someone else holds it! I just found out they sell a holder ($30) for it. Bought it… very secure. It holds the Jeanie securely upside down so you can get a wonderful foot massage! Love this machine!!

Professional Grade Product With Some Drawbacks
The vibration on the handles is too much — would be 5-star if they addressed it via some sort of dampening material (it is 2015 after all, you think that Core Products could figure out something — even to sell as an after market add-on). If you plan on administering a massage and have arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome, this might not be the right choice for you as a result of the intensity of the vibration.As advertised, the unit itself is very heavy. There are few muscle groups you can use the massager on your own. You really need a partner to get the full benefit of this unit.Finally, I find that the vibration through the massage pad itself is so intense that I am using nothing but the lowest setting at this point — it really does produce a very stimulating vibration. And, the size of the massage pad is very generous.

Yeah, if you go to a physical therapy or rehab place, they’re going to whip this exact unit out at the end of the session for 2 minutes and bill your insurance 200 bucks. Look, if you want “quiet and light”, then go buy a weak unit that’ll last you a year or two. If you want the one that’ll actually be strong enough to heal you and last for years, this is your only option.
