Good choice
A bit expensive but works very well with no issues. Better than may last HP dud.

Initial Impressions are Good
Got it today and it looks good so far. I didn’t see too much bloatware, if any, when setting it up. Screen is bright and sound is reasonable but not great; it is OK for video playback but mediocre for (especially orchestral) music.I found several issues:1) When booting it up it first tried to boot from the network, which didn’t work. I fixed this going into the BIOS settings and removing the boot-from-lan setting.2) Lenovo seems to use only chargers that plug into the USB-C port, leaving only one USB-3 port and one USB-2 port available. I ordered two different models and both had this problem.3) The laptop does not have an SD card reader.4) The included mouse did not work, and even if it did, it seemed flimsy.AMAZON has a number of chargers that should fit into the laptop’s power port, which would fix problem 2. AMAZON also has a number of devices that provide extra USB-3 ports as well as an SD reader, which fixes problems 2 and 3.I will probably update this review after a few months of use.

Works well
Can’t beat the price for the amount of memory. Works well.

Product freezes and eventually locks up and support is poor.
Bought this just under 6 months ago and have only used it about 8 times now. I don’t use it as my primary. It started freezing about 3 weeks ago after being on about 5 minutes each time I tried using it and I would have to restart, only to have it freeze again. I had Lenovo troubleshoot and it was showing a “motherboard” issue, and they corrected it (according to their reply’s. It did stop freezing, but now it will not turn on, and I have only a black screen. I sent another message to Lenovo, and they informed me they would have to refer me to another location to work with, for the laptop was manufactured in India and they only service products in the US and Canada. I worked with their support team and my call with them was dropped several times and very frustrating trying to understand what they were saying. Another issue, make sure you check the warranty of the product when you purchase, for I purchased it in July, and the warranty started in March prior to the purchase. The warranty does not start when you purchase, but you pay for the shelf life of the product. I would assume if I purchased the product in the US from Amazon, it would be supported by the US/Canada team, but not the case.
