This device simply don’t work. It does not upload your records to the app
It 100% does not work. The app does not connect to the device and even if it does get connected if you go to record your records don’t even appear in the app. So I mean the product is like 100% useless. It has a very strong magnet on it though and it does stick to your phone good and I mean it looks to be a good device but it just don’t function. The only reason you get it is to record it. Don’t even do that. I promise it don’t work

This device has surprised me for good. The recorder has an elegant design, is light and the audio quality is excellent. I love that I can transcribe and summarize automatically, saving me time. It is also very easy to connect with the cell phone and the applications work without problem. Ideal for recording notes, meetings or quick ideas

Love the idea of a recorder that latches onto the phone and uses its own power and not the phone. I was able to connect via USB to read the files on the phone [without the app] ONLY ONCE. I was then unable to see new files/recordings that I was later able to verify existed thru the app.The app REQUIRES creating and logging into an online acct. So you will lose features if you lose connection. It uses Bluetooth to connect and transfer files to your phone so it get pretty slow if you record more than a few minutes. Also the BT connection is only possible thru the app…the phone settings seems unable to see/connect directly to the recorder.Record quality was disappointing. I was intrigued by the claims of AI noise reduction. And while it may be incredible, I will never know. There seems to be no setting to turn it off for comparison. Playback quality is simply OK…quite decent for the size of the device, varying distances to speakers [5-10 feet away], etc., but calling it clear as some of the 5-star reviews have, I feel is a bit over sold.Transcriptions were let’s say, less than accurate. Only tried the default here…. i recorded a couple conversations. A phone call on speaker and in person. I only reviewed the first few sentences of each as many of the transcribed words were never spoken. Can’t help but feel BETTER audio would have helped too. YMMV.Battery life seems pretty darn good. 2+ hrs dropped the reading from 100% to 87%.. Guessing 10 to 15 hrs record time on a single charge should be doable to optimistic.The pouch connects to the MagSafe ring on the back of the iPhone but the recorder itself does not, unless you use the included ring for the recorder instead of an incompatible phone/case The pouch basically make the recorder triple the thickness. I already use a chunky magnetic phone case…adding the pouch was just too much.

Terrible VoxWave app required
Terrible! Cannot connect to VoxWave app, which is required to make it work. All app instructions are in Chinese, CHAT GPT translated and I still cant download app, tried several ways, not working at all. Returned, should have gone with PLAUD.
