A little loud but oh so nice!
This is my second massage chair from comfier, and I must say that I like this one a lot more than the last for several reasons. My husband got me the first one as a Christmas present a few years ago, and although it is definitely nice, after some use I realized that my back does not react well to the constant push of the massages, and I end up with more pain than I started. However, that is entirely a ME problem, as I have family members that adore it! Anyway, I recently got this one and although it is definitely thin, it works more off strong vibrations in certain areas rather than a massage piece digging into you. Personally, I like this a lot more as I can enjoy the massage without tissue pain, but rather relief! I guess the fact that it’s multilevel vibrations all around might be what makes it a little loud, but nothing that some headphones on and getting lost to Enya or relaxing music couldn’t fix.The size is perfect on my tall gaming chair! I especially really like that, unlike my other one, I can actually lay back on top of this one and enjoy a full back massage while either leaning back or laying all the way down without feeling any unwanted pressure or anything pushing up against my bones. I have been wanting a massager like this for a long time and I’m glad to finally have found it! I think if I wanted to lay on top of it on top of my bed, I most likely could and it would feel amazing! All the functions hit all the right spots and you can select them all at once or click on the ones you do or do not want to have on. The heating options for the back and seat are also always a nice touch! I am definitely happy with my purchase!

Great performer with possible chair attachment limitations.
Have used it daily for about a week so can only speak to performance but not longevity. The unit is better than any I’ve owned previously. The vibration gives great selectability for area and intensity, is precisely located for optimal effect and is strong enough to make a difference. The heating function gives you back, seat and both but no intensity control. The heat setting is both comfortable and effective.The unit seems to have been tailored for an more for a slimmer office-type chair rather than a larger recliner in terms of the straps that hold it to the chair. These are NOT adjustable straps but elastic. I put this on a narrower European/Scandinavian type lounge chair and barely got it on. Wider chair backs may be an issue. Longer securing straps with Velcro-style attachment would have given this 5 stars for added flexibility for all chair types.Despite the lack of flexibility in terms of attachment, this is really an awesome performer. I highly recommend this for those who are helped by vibration and heat therapy.

Doesn’t Reach 131 Degrees
I ordered this heated seat cushion, another Comfier cushion without the massage function, and a 3rd from Labrous to see which would work best for me.I work in a cold office and my hands get pretty cold and stiff which makes it hard to type. We aren’t allowed to use space heaters anymore so I figured I would try one of these to see if it would help. I tested all the cushions I ordered at home and purposely made it cold enough in the house to make my hands cold. None of the cushions I ordered ever reached their stated temperature. I measured the surface temperatures with an infrared thermometer on the highest setting for each cushion and the two Comfier brand cushions only ever made it to ~107 degrees Fahrenheit while the other brand was a little lower even though it had a higher stated temperature. I sat on the cushions for about 20-30 minutes each as that’s about how long it takes for my little space heater to warm up my hands. Both Comfier cushions were actually nice and toasty, but not hot enough to ever get my hands warm.If you don’t have the same concerns as I do and just want something to keep you from sitting on cold leather seats in your car, I think all of the cushions I tried would actually work perfectly. Just for reference, I checked the temperature of a pretty standard Sunbeam heating pad I have on it’s highest setting and it only reached about 103 degrees. So if you think the temperature of a standard heating pad on high would be good enough for you, this should be slightly better.Just a side note that only applies to this cushion since it has extra stuff inside for the massage function–you can kind of feel some of the internal components of this cushion when you sit on it, but I put the cushion on a pretty soft couch and I think that kept me from being bothered by it. If you plan to put this on a firm seat or just plan to sit on it for several hours at a time, the internals might start to become annoying.

Only had the product a few days and I’ve put it in the car. The motors for the massage are strong enough to leave you numb (when dialed up to max, less aggressive settings are available) and the heated components reach a good temperature. Motor placement seems good but the neck motors don’t really reach my neck thanks to the contour of the car seat.There are a couple minor improvements that could be made. The pocket that holds the remote has some velcro to close it and secure the remote in the pocket however this can’t be opened one handed. As it’s on the right hand side in the car, you’d need to take both hands off the wheel to retrieve the remote if you were driving. I’ll be removing the velcro from mine. Obviously, this is not a problem if you use this in the home.The other is the remote. It offers excellent control but if you want to turn on the heated seat, back and three of the motor clusters on full time, it’s six button presses. It’d be nice to have an “everything on full” button. It also doesn’t remember the setting from the last time it was switched on.These are minor quibbles and more suggestions for improvements. The product seems well made, is comfortable and works well. As for durability, mine came with a two year warranty which leaves me hopeful but only time will tell.

The seat cover is nicely finished and comfortable. The heating works well in a home office (not too hot like some others I have tried) the only downside is that the massage function is VERY, VERY noisy.
