Really boosts signal!
This inexpensive little adapter was the missing link/signal booster I needed to make my Firestick work! ALL I needed to do was plug my Firestick power cord into this and then plug this adapter into the Firestick piece that goes into the HMD1 port on my TV.I have been struggling to get signal on my TV. This is the answer!!

Works… Easy to Use… Limited Speeds…
This Ethernet adapter for use with Amazon Fire Stick was easy to install on my TV and Stick, with no additional setup beyond the required physical plugging of cords/cables. The entire adapter is well-made and housed in a durable, heat-dissipating metal shell. This adapter works great for those who don’t have a strong and/or stable enough connection to Wi-Fi. Even though we have one of the nodes for our mesh system not too far away from this TV, we have signal stability issues caused by something on the other side of the TV our daughter prefers to have her TV. It’s a strong signal, but when the water heater, furnace, or something else right near that wall triggers on, then the signal is blocked on that wall only for about 5 minutes. While this adapter does completely provide a workaround of this issue, we were surprised that its limited to only 100mbps, which would also cause a lag of the closed captioning during longer watching times. Once it was actually beyond bizarre to watch since the entire first 30 minutes of a movie there were no captions, and then it just started flowing from the “[Intro Music]” quickly through every word and sound, and had finally caught up to the correct timing by the end of the movie. Tested this on other TVs, and it had nothing to do with the current movie on a paid subscription streaming platform. (Our teenage daughter has a friend she has known since very young who is deaf, and we now find it odd to watch TV without the captions turned on.) The power is provided from a USB cable that must be plugged into a brick, then into a wall outlet. It doesn’t really work!
It’s not working like it was described to work! I’m pretty angry about it and want a refund! I’ve tried it and I’m NOT satisfied with it at all!!!
