Shoes have a on/off button for the lights.
We received the shoes and they worked fine. After my kid put them on and walked around for a bit we noticed that they were no longer lighting up. I thought they were defective so we did an exchange for a new pair. Upon receiving the new pair we noticed the same thing happened again. They worked for a bit and then no lights again. I was getting ready to return them and get my money back when I noticed a button with the word ‘lights’ on it on the top of the strap you use to fasten the shoes. Needless to say, I felt like a dummy for not realizing it earlier. Shoes are great, they fit well, are comfortable, and my kids love them.

These shoes were a hit from the moment my daughter tried them on. They fit exactly as expected—true to size—and she says they’re super comfortable to wear all day. Great value for the price! These are precious little shoes for any toddler who loves sparkles and colors! They fit true to size, aren’t heavy, and are pretty durable for active children. They are super easy to put on; even independently by a two year old. I definitely recommend this product.

Light Up Shoe Does Not Light Up
DO NOT BUY THESE Shoes. The shoes are defective. I bought first pair of these for my granddaughter. She wanted light up tennis shoes and she picked these out because of the pretty colors and style with hearts. When she put them on, the right shoe wasn’t lighting up so I returned the defective pair and ordered new pair of same exact style, color and size. She wore them only a few times and again the right shoe doesn’t light up. She is disappointed and we both agreed that she will wear these shoes with only the left one lighting up. Did not bother to return the second pair since ordering the same shoe again will probably have the same result. Too bad because the fit and ease of her putting on the shoe was nice. We may try a different brand of light up shoe next time.
