A couple of years ago, I went down a rabbit hole trying to figure out why my hair and nails simply refused to cooperate. My hair would grow to a certain point and then snap off like it had somewhere better to be. My nails were brittle, weak, and constantly breaking, even after I stopped bleaching my hair and gave up nail extensions entirely. I was also shedding so much hair that I genuinely wondered how I wasn’t visibly balding.Spoiler alert: iron was the missing piece for me.After doing a lot of research, I learned that iron plays a huge role in hair and nail growth because it helps carry oxygen to hair follicles and nail cells. I also had to be honest with myself: I don’t eat meat or eggs, and while I try to get iron from leafy greens and beans, consistency is not my strongest skill.Enter these OLLY iron chewables.Size & ease of use:The tablets are small and easy to chew, which makes sticking with them long-term much easier than swallowing big pills. Chewing two a day quickly became part of my routine instead of something I dreaded.Taste & texture:They taste fine. Not candy, not medicine. Just a light fruit punch flavor with a mild sweetness. They are a bit chalky, similar to a Tums, but nothing unpleasant or shocking. Good product and worth buying. I like that they are chewable however I swallow them with my other vitamins. flavor is good, they dont make me sick and they have helped with my iron levels.

I wish this product had come sooner! I can feed my kids (or myself!) the delicious gummy vitamins we all prefer, but still get some iron in via a really yummy chewable tablet!!! These are gentle to digest and haven’t caused any constipation that I can tell. Love these for my whole family!

Firm Chewable with Strong Taste
These iron chewable tablets have a firm texture and a noticeably strong taste, which isn’t the most pleasant compared to other chewables. While the fruit punch flavor helps somewhat, it still comes through as more chalky than sweet. That said, they’re easy to take and fit well into a daily routine, especially for those who prefer chewables over swallowing pills. A solid option if taste isn’t a top priority.

Bought for my daughter who promptly turned up her nose so I decided to push through myself and not let them go to waste. Taste was odd at first, like drinking fruit punch out of a rusty can. However about halfway through the bottle I actually looked forward to taking them. They are easy to chew, dissolve well, and I chase mine down with vitamin C gummies as well. They did not upset my stomach or cause constipation. They are true to their name – delightful!

I was so nervous to take these because I’ve heard horror stories about how badly iron supplements taste. This one is excellent!! It’s actually good! I take it at night in order to be consistent and avoid caffeine. I’m only 9 days in and hoping to see more energy soon. So far, so good!

Flavor of tablet is off-putting at first
These were okay on my stomach, but the initial flavor is not delightful. Once you bite into them, the “punch” flavor takes over, but the first few moments are 🤢. Good iron supplement, okay on the stomach, did not want to put in my mouth.
