    Clear, Calm Help
This book is a real help for people who think too much. It gets to the point fast and gives real ways to quiet the mind. I liked how the ideas were easy to use right away. The part that asked, “What would I say to a friend?” really hit home. You don’t need to read for hours to get something useful—each page has something that helps. The book is short, clear, and full of good steps. If your thoughts are loud and never stop, this book can show you how to slow them down. I highly recommend it.

A Practical, Gentle Guide to Finally Letting Go
I picked up The Art of Letting Go during a time when my thoughts felt like a constant storm—and this book genuinely helped me slow it all down. It’s not just theory; it gives you clear, doable steps that actually work, even on busy days. I especially liked the short, 27-tool appendix with real techniques I could use anytime. It’s calm, compassionate, and doesn’t feel preachy or overwhelming. If you struggle with overthinking or holding on too tightly, this book is worth it.

Gave me practical ways to quiet my mind.
This book felt like it was written for the exact season of life I am in. I overthink constantly and carry way too much emotional weight from the past. The Art of Letting Go gave me practical ways to quiet my mind and start releasing things that were never mine to hold. What stood out most is how approachable the tools are. The author doesn’t just talk about letting go, he actually gives you simple practices you can use right away. The 27 tool appendix has been a game changer for me because I can pick one exercise and feel calmer in just a few minutes. It feels doable, not overwhelming.I also appreciated how much the book covers beyond just overthinking. From setting boundaries to forgiving yourself, the lessons touch every area of life. I found myself highlighting whole sections because they felt so relevant. If you have been stuck in your head, weighed down by stress, or drained by old wounds, this book is like a gentle guide that shows you how to finally feel lighter.

    This book helps!
The points in this book are spot on in terms of why people overthink. I appreciated the clear description of “overthinking” factors and reasons why we do this. The book addresses the difference between simply thinking and overthinking in simple terms. I loved the simple techniques, such as the grounding approaches which were easy to follow and explained well. The book is well written and easy to follow. I recommend it to help get out of the trap of overthinking stealing present joy!

    Empowering
This book offers clear-cut steps to living a more empowered life by cutting off negative self-talk, toxic relationships, and creating clear boundaries. Of most value are the suggested wordings for how to agree to disagree with someone. I felt more empowered just by reading the suggested responses out loud. Other great suggestions include starting a confidence file and practicing micro-moment mindfulness. An excellent book.

    Beneficial resource
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The writing felt calm and easy to follow, and it gave me a lot to think about in my own life. The author explains how holding on to the past can keep us stuck, and I found the tips on acceptance and moving forward very helpful. It felt like having a kind friend remind me that it’s okay to let go and breathe again. This is a book I’ll come back to whenever I need a little peace.

Interesting and informative!Eric Grant’s The Art of letting Go emphasizes many factors that influence our insistence on hanging on to negative emotions, including negative self-talk and trying to please others. But through it all, Grant explains that letting go is more than just an action. It is a state of mind, a way of being. He teaches us to identify the inner critic, name him, and eventually dispose of him.Perhaps the author says it best: “We live in a world that glorifies control, performance, and constant striving. We’re told to hustle harder, plan better, think smarter, yet no one teaches us how to let go. As a result we carry far more than we were meant to.”But not to worry. In a clear, well-written, and concise style, Grant give you all the tools to not only let go but find inner peace and happiness in the process. If you feel consumed by negative emotions, toxic relationships, are always trying to please others, or you just want to live a happier life, I’m sure you’ll find a lot of useful information here.

I’ve reached the age where your thoughts suddenly get louder and quieter all at once..if that makes sense. I became aware of how much room overthinking was taking up in my life after reading the book. Instead than lecturing, the author’s tone is more like a close friend providing guidance. The 2-minute peace routines i’ve been attempting actually helps. Reading has been calming, like gently clearing out years’ worth of mental clutter.
