Product description

What does this blood pressure monitor track?
It measures systolic, diastolic, and heart rate. When connected to the NOMO app, these readings are stored so you can see trends over time.
Do I need the subscription to use this?
Yes. NOMO Essential Kit and an active subscription are required to use the app to track BPM. Otherwise, no tracking can be done via the app.
How does the BPM connect to the NOMO app?
After setup, the monitor sends readings to the app over the NOMO system. Open the app to view history, trends, and shareable reports.
Can a caregiver see the readings remotely?
Yes. If the patient is using the NOMO Kit with an active subscription, caregivers with access can view updated BP readings in the app.
How often should I take a reading?
We recommend daily or as your healthcare provider suggests. More frequent readings make the app’s trend view more useful.

A good blood pressure monitor that was fairly easy to set up for me
I have been using this Nomo blood pressure monitor for my daily health tracking and it has proven to be a reliable and user friendly device. One of my main concerns when ordering was whether the cuff would fit comfortably since I have a larger arm but I was pleased to find that it adjusts easily and provides a secure fit without feeling too tight or pinching during the inflation process. I tested the accuracy of the readings by comparing them to a secondary device I already owned and the results were consistently fine and within a very close range which gives me confidence in the data it provides. It has been a big help in tracking my blood pressure though various life events that have caused stress. The bluetooth setup was straightforward and the accompanying app is genuinely helpful for seeing trends over time rather than just looking at a single snapshot of my numbers. It is convenient to have the readings sync automatically so I do not have to manually log them every day. The display is large and clear making it easy to read even in lower light settings. While it is a solid four star performer that does exactly what I need it would be nice if the response time for the initial app sync was slightly faster but once it is connected the system works smoothly. This is a practical tool for anyone who needs to monitor their heart health at home with a dependable cuff and a useful digital tracking system.

Easy to use
I really like this blood pressure monitor. It’s easy to set up and use. The cuff fits well and doesn’t feel uncomfortable on my arm. The display is clear and easy to read. I like that it helps me keep track of my blood pressure regularly. It works well every time I use it. Definitely a good choice for checking my BP at home.

Not just a Bluetooth connection.
Never got to use it. You have to set up the whole system and pay a monthly fee just to use the blood pressure device. I just wanted one that connects to Bluetooth…no extras.

Reliable, Comfortable, and Just the Right Size
I have two other blood pressure monitors at home — one is a compact wrist model for travel, and the other is quite large and bulky. This Nomo Smart Care monitor is just the right size — not too big, not too small — and perfect for everyday use.I compared its readings to both of my other devices, and they matched up very well. The measurements are accurate and consistent. The cuff is soft, easy to put on, and has helpful markers to guide proper placement. The large, bright display is easy to read, even without glasses. It supports two user profiles, so readings can be saved separately. It runs on AAA batteries (included), so it’s ready to go right out of the box.The only downside is the app — it requires a separate hub and a subscription, which I chose not to use. But even without it, the monitor works perfectly. It’s a well-designed, dependable blood pressure monitor that feels easy and comfortable to use at home.

Impressively accurate monitor
Let me start off by saying that this is a pretty inexpensive BP monitor (relative to most used in a medical setting). I understand that using a blood pressure machine at home is a little different and that it comes with certain caveats. Ideally, understand what the results mean and how to interpret them in the context of your health. This is a good machine for reporting to a physician or other medical authority – definitely not something I’d recommend for someone to self-treat with. With all that said and done, this thing is actually fairly accurate. I find about a +/-2% range on systolic pressures when compared to a LifePak 15 cardiac monitor and a Zoll Series X monitor (which spit out fairly similar results). The diastolic pressures are relatively constant across all these models. This is especially impressive seeing how this is around 0.15% the cost of an industrial machine. Now let me reiterate this is not for self-diagnosing at home. Just because it can get similar readings to professional, industrial grade monitors does not replace the human aspect of interpreting and trending them. The display is easy to use and read, with the numbers being big enough and an indicator for an irregular heart rate. It was able to catch atrial fibrillation fairly easily in someone with known afib. It works just as intended. The cuff is well made and doesn’t seem prone to shearing. I saw someone mention about this cuff not having padding… well it is not supposed to. Run far away if your BP cuff has padding as that will skew the results big time. This will fit the average adult sized female/male with the reference range on this cuff. I’m not sure what other sizes they sell but there is only 1 included. Now onto the bad… this boasts that it comes with batteries. This is not a false statement; However, I do find that the batteries were extremely cheap and actually did not work at all. Just make sure you have 4x AAA batteries on hand for the inevitability of the included batteries not working. This also boats about its app. The memory capacity is alright on the machine itself, but it encourages to get the app to have unlimited storage. The app, from what I understand, costs money in the form of a monthly subscription to get a hub account. This is a bit silly as I can’t see it doing anything more than a typical pen and paper could do.
