Very Basic Phone
I was looking for a cheap basic phone that I could keep in my kitchen for my middle age kids to use in case of an emergency or for when they stay home alone. I wanted something that could call a family member, neighbors, and 911 but wanted something with no internet access. This does the job, I bought a Tello SIM card for $3 on Amazon. It worked great. I have an unlimited talk and text with no data for $8 a month. The phone itself is about as basic as you can get. It seems well made and feels like it isn’t going to fall apart on me. It took me a bit to get used to the old school interface but once I did it is easy to use. I would buy a second if needed.

Best for mostly calling
Good clear calls with Mint Mobile. There is a learning curve with the texting. Seems you have to go to contacts first, highlight the contact you want, then hit options, then hit write message. As another reviewer mentioned, the text messages are not linked together like on smart phones. They all come individually.Might not recommend this phone for elderly folks who are big texters. But, if they want a good signal for calling, then this phone is highly recommended.This phone worked inside a warehouse where my smartphone often doesn’t get a good signal.It DOES come with the internet icon. It is very limited access and most websites are too big to load, but it was advertised without internet access so that might be an issue for some.The FM radio is nice since you can listen to it without headphones.All and all it is a decent phone for the price. Just wish texting was easier. Still haven’t figured out how to send pictures via text..

More than I expected
IMPRESSED ! I didn’t have high expectations but this actually blew me away ! I have used only for a few days as my main driver and I actually like using it. The sound quality is actually better in my view than some smart phones. You can listen to music on the device which is awesome ! The typing is a work out but I like that it does have Predictive text. I have T-Mobile and I just put my SIM card in and turned it on and it worked. This also works out in the middle of nowhere. This is a very reliable phone ! I do like that you can customize the ringtone. You go into Audio go to my music and tap options then set the ringtone.I expected the buttons to be read aloud as I typed But I thankfully did not get that. It is a senior phone but it does work for my generation as well Gen Z.I was looking for a dumb phone that was very simple but was still a good phone and yes reliable and this does that.

Great solution for daily tasks!
This phone matches T mobile service quite well. Overall the font size is big for me and the function button is easy to figure out! It’s easier than iPhone which I found quite hard to learn the functions.. That’s why I like keeping using this phone. Another thing is it has SOS function. If something bad happened to me, it can notify my families immediately for safety. Also considering buy one for my granddaughter cause she’s keen on playing video games lol ..

US Cellular Customer Sad That this Phone Did Not Work
This phone is not compatible with US Cellular, although it worked perfectly with T‑Mobile when I checked local service providers. As a loyal US Cellular customer, I truly wish this excellent phone had worked with my carrier. Unfortunately, it simply would not connect with US Cellular. And even though T‑Mobile recently bought out US Cellular, they would not honor my long‑standing, affordable plan—leaving me no choice but to return the phone.T‑Mobile did try to get me to switch, and I was tempted just so my husband could use this phone. However, the pricing and value of my current US Cellular plan can’t be matched. So, I’m staying with US Cellular and returning the phone, despite its clear sound quality and well‑designed case.
