Good laptop
Sooo I’m not a laptop guy. I like my desktops. I’m also not a Ryzen guy either. I lean more on intel and nvidia. But I needed a good solid gaming computer at a good price that can run anything at pretty much any given graphic rate. I have no issues with this laptop. Just wish the screen was an inch or two bigger. But overall rating coming from a long time desktop builder, 10/10 rating. Solid laptop; probably the best you’ll find for the price.

A Bit Disappointing
Edited 4/3/25I had to add more memory. Instead of having one memory card of 16 gigs, it had two 8-gig cards. So i had to buy two 16s to get to 32. Then I learned that Ryzen was not a good graphics option for gaming; should have chosen Nvidia. But since doubling the memory, I am now able to use Blender and Gimp at the same time without freezing. Before…A lot of people said this is great for today’s gaming, but it isn’t. I kept getting GPU-related (VRAM) crashes. It’s just not enough. I had to lower the default graphics settings in-game to avoid the problem. In the future, I will avoid the Ryzen from AMD. I like the weight and size, the cooling features, and perks. However, I miss having colors to choose from as my keyboard backlight. This one just does white. It will be OK but I won’t be able to create any content for customized avatars, which bums me out. Gamers who like details, SL users, UGC artists– THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!

Avoid at all costs
I bought this computer in January of 2025 and it has been the bane of my existence the entire time. It has been a lemon since day 1. There is a glitchy graphics issue that renders the computer unusable at times. I’ve spent countless hours on with tech support and have gone through two RMAs, and the issue still has not been resolved. On top of that after the second RMA, it was sent back with a busted bottom cover and the laptop is coming apart. I’ve tried contacting the seller about this but have never received a response.Worst purchase I have ever made. Will never buy ASUS again.

Amazing laptop if on sale and have drivers installed
All those that have issues with this laptop do not troubleshoot enough. ASUS laptops are known to be buggy if you don’t have most of their “necessary” software and drivers. I was having issues at first clean OS install until I did some digging. Don’t get ASUS laptops if you don’t want weird issues with drivers and software. The 7700s and the Ryzem CPU combo were a major upgrade from my laptop with a 2060.All that being said, amazing laptop! After finally realizing these laptops have issues if you dont install the ASUS stuff, it has been great. I’ve been playing at 1440p 60 fps on AAA games. Any game that doesn’t run at the least 1080p 60fps on this device will struggle on desktops since theyre usually not optimized. Example is Borderlands 4 although I haven’t tried it on this. I’ve been playing all the games from the Xbox pass and steam library at 1440p 60fps with high settings minimum. Some if you want ultra or high if not optimized by the developer will run at 1080p 60 fps on high or ultra.Absolute workhorse. Does run hot like any gaming laptop so get a stand or laptop cooler.

Computer
The amount of memory on this computer is excellent. The only thing is my husband was expecting the keyboard color to change with the 2tb, but that function is only on the keyboard 1tb.
