Better than Razer (with Modifications for 14″ Laptops)
Despite the description this is *not* compatible with 14″ laptops. Using the Zephyrus G14 as a reference there is a 1/4″ gap on either side of the laptop. This is made worse if you choose to use the kickstands. That said there is an extra sheet of memory foam provided as shipping protection for the center fan. If you cut 1/2 – 1″ strips off the sides and use a hot glue gun you can fully seal the deck for a G14. Had this been say a Strix or similar 16″ laptop this would be unneccesary.Load temps on iGPU -> eGPU for P0 sit at around 60-65C load and idle temps between 27-30C which is considerably better than the Razer Laptop cooler.RGB on device does have a “memory” and one of the color options is “Razer Green” that matches perfectly to CoreX V2. For $39 this was excatly what I needed. Base fan RPM is also stored even with power plug removed which makes routine use of the device perfect. Noise level is on par with Razer, possibly lower since I don’t use it raised and as a result it is more insulated. Airflow seems better but its unclear whether that is because the seal around the laptop is tighter with my modifications or not.Overall very grateful to not have Synapse on my system anymore and will apply the dollar savings towards a new GPU in the fall.

Excellent laptop cooler, a bit noisy.
Works as advertized! At max power is a bit noisy but something you should expect with this type of laptop coolers, apart from that, it does an excellent job a cooling laptops. Would recomend to anyone who uses any kind of laptops, also, make sure to have a big backpack because is bulky and takes space.

Good especially for budget cooling
Works well while intensive high settings for gaming or mining crypto. Took laptop from 85C° to low 60C°. Made it manageable for multitasking and taking care of much on my laptop, not worried about thermal throttling anymore, just that my laptop literally can’t do all games at high settings.Nice and easy to adjust fan speed. It is rather loud at the highest setting, but not awful noise level around mid range fan speed. My laptop doesn’t slide at all with the foam or the tabs to hold it. My 4 star is because there isn’t a setting to turn off the RGB lights which are bright, and the fan is aggressively loud at the highest setting. But overall it works really well.

Loud on high, but moves a lot of air.
Is it loud? Yes. Is it still quieter than the MSI’s built in fans on high? Maybe a little. There is no free lunch. For the price, how much air it moves, and the LED options, it is 5 stars. My laptop hasn’t need to run on high fans now and has stopped overheating and shutting off. Mission accomplished.

The fan power and efficiency is great.
So far it’s good. Have for about a week. After looking around for about, this one was one of the best for the money.Love the LED lights.. Doesn’t look cheap. The fan power and efficiency is great. Noticeable difference in temp. Noise is good. I don’t really care about it being quiet, as long as it does it’s job and cool down my laptop, I’m good. I have a 15″ Dell Precision 5540 Laptop. Fits great without any changes to the fitting. Has some weight to it, but decent to fit on lap if needed. Hard plastic material, feels solid. So far so good.

It’s ok for the money.
Good unit… is working as well as the expensive unit that died after 6 months. Capacitive buttons are a bit too sensitive have to keep adjusting the lighting or fan speed as my wrists or hand hits them

Effective and high build quality (foam included)
Noisy but quite effective!Even on the lowest setting this thing helps temps tremendously for a Zephyrus G16 2024 (HX370 and 4070)!You can turn off the RGB too!My only complaints:It is that large.It uses a 12v external power adapter.If your laptop has feet or a bar foot, like mine, it might not fit perfectly – but in my case having some air leak out near the back actually seems to HELP it vs pressing it down or moving it on the pad so it seals perfectly (all aluminum chassis FTW).
