I purchased this phone mount for my newly purchased car. The base was too big to use on my dashboard, because of the design, so I used the mount for the vent instead. To my surprise it fits really well. Because of the design of the mount, it holds the phone in place really well because it doesn’t allow the vent to move in any direction. It was so easy to follow the instructions to install the mount. I like that this has a release button so I can remove my phone from the mount. I can also charge my phone while phone is mounted. Because of the design of my phone, I need to turn on my phone and set the GPS before putting my phone on the mount. This is because the part of the mount that tighten on the sides of my phone slightly covers my power button and I can’t turn on my phone. I still love this mount and I highly recommend purchasing this product.

My wife has been driving without a phone holder and it honestly started scaring me when she needed directions. This was a great value as she doesn’t have MagSafe so I needed a cradle design. The vent mount works great since you’re able to tighten it down and offered the perfect placement in our case. The holder is strong and easy to close/ open. Overall, really pleased with the quality of this phone mount and would recommend

Pretty essential, I should have bought it years ago.
I was finally pressured into buying one of these after California passed a law this year making it a violation to be looking at a phone in your hand even for directions. Now I feel stupid for not getting one sooner. It makes navigation much easier, and is can even watch sports games on longer trips (I am still primarily focusing on the road).The product is extremely low-priced and works perfectly. There is a combination adhesive/suction mechanism that keeps it stuck to my dashboard. The joints make it very mobile and I can easily maneuver it into different postitions based on my need.Issues? It did lose grip and fall a couple times during the first month of use when jolted. However I easily re-applied it with the suction mechanism alone and it hasnt fallen down in over 6 months. This does not change my positive opinion of the product.

This is my 3rd such device and the best so far. I live in Texas where it does get hot and the others would separate from the sticky part of the suction cup as I have mine mounted on the windshield just to the right of the door frame driver side. Not only did it look messy and ugly it would not hold anymore. I read about this item and that it would not run if the windshield got hot and so far it as not and we have had a very hot summer. It’s easy to mount as most all are. I have not tried it on the dash as I like the ease of view right in front of me to the left on the wind shield. (see Picture ) . I would recommend and would by again.
