Super impressive console that hits way out of its price range.
I have been an avid gamer for many years but mostly stuck to consoles. A handful of years ago, I got a Nintendo Switch, and while it was nice, it did feel rather childish as far as the game availability went. A few weeks ago, a friend mentioned a steam deck. I had never heard of one before, so I started doing a little bit of research and decided to give one a shot. I have been nothing but impressed by this little machine. I had a gaming pc about 5 years ago that struggled to play some of the games that needed some higher-end internals, such as Elite Dangerous. The first thing I did to test this console was download Elite Dangerous. It ran this game far better than any console (xbox, pc, or playstation) that I have ever played it on. It ran smooth, the setup was simple, and the graphics were fantastic. I have been nothing but impressed with this thing and if you are a pc gamer looking for something to play on the go, this is the way to go. The SSD can also be upgraded to give more storage if needed, but so far, the 512GB is plenty for my current gaming needs.Overall, I am ecstatic as to how well this works and runs games. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that is looking for gaming on the go.

Fantastic option for a handheld PC
To be honest, I have owned the Legion Go and the Rog Ally, yet I prefer the Steam Deck even though its hardware is a previous generation from the other options. Why?-The form factor is the best out of the 3 in my opinion, it’s just more comfortable to hold and doesn’t bother my hands at all. Much better back button placement and the build quality feels just right, as does the weight of the device.-The OS is fantastic, but I can understand some people don’t know Linux and might struggle if leaving the SteamOS for any reason. There is a ton of info on the internet, so make use of it and learn something new!-It’s NOT Win11. MS has gone downhill with pretty much all of their software imo, so I’m very happy to move away from it.-Works with official and un-official accessories, not to mention there are a ton of options if you are feeling squirrely wanting to do upgrades / part swaps (please be careful and watch guides).-Oled screen, such a game changer, everything pops and looks amazing. The screens on the Legion Go and Rog Ally are solid as well imo, they look great, but the SD’s Oled tops them both. Worth the money. All in all, an all-around fantastic device and I’m very happy with my purchase. I suggest the jsaux case if just in case, it’s easy to use and cheap, but well made. I also suggest the right-angle USB-C adapter to help relieve stress on the USB-C port.

Steam deck OLED
One of the best handheld out there and for a reasonable price for the OLED.

I’m impressed
Exactly what I ordered. But it says international version, and it came with an American plug.

Best Handheld Ever
This is the single best piece of electronics I’ve bought in years. I have a decent gaming PC that I rarely use any more because I just chill in bed or on the couch and play everything from Civ 7 to Diablo 4 to Cyberpunk right there on my deck. Runs Spotify with my games and it’s great to watch YouTube Netflix and Hulu on as well. Can’t say enough, five stars all day!

Steam Deck MUST BUY
If you’re doubting getting a Steam Deck OLED like I kinda did, DONT! This handheld machine is BEAUTIFUL in person. The picture shows the LCD model but it’s not. Graphics look amazing on the game, the console is very sleek & comfy. The Deck looks cool, the OLeD screen absolutely pops out in your face. It’s truly eye candy heaven. I’ve been playing Triple A titles to indie games/oldskool games smoothly. It’s like having IMAX in handheld size. It’s also user friendly. The speakers are pretty loud but you can also customize volume just like you can customize the look of your Steam Deck. Steam Deck OLED in my humble opinion is the best handheld on the market! MUST BUY!

Accessing my Steam library in a handheld is a surreal and extraordinary experience. Figuring out a decent balance of performance and battery life is key to enjoying some of the AAA titles, but for retro gaming or even PS remote play, the steam deck performs superbly for long hours. It’s a full Linux desktop in your hands running no more than 15w tdp. It can run windows but the drivers for the OLED ver aren’t fully ready from Valve.

Magnífica consola portátil de steam, con esta revisión donde se actualiza la pantalla por una de tecnología Oled, donde puedes ver tus juegos de manera excelente y muy fluida, además de poder aprovechar los precios de la biblioteca de Steam.

Genuine product, arrived promptly and in great condition. Nice packaging and carry case – satisfying to unbox. I’m not a huge gamer/console/PC person and play only handheld (switch and now steamdeck). Currently switching between Coral Island and Valheim and handles both with minimal issues – occasional lag/frame rate drops that I could probably optimise by changing settings but I’m not clever enough to understand how to do that and just play on default settings.Battery lasts a few good hours and it notifies you when a charge is needed. Can get hot and fan is loud but that’s probably my own fault – I play for hours at a time in bed and plugged into my Anker USBC charger (Australian here so couldn’t use the charger it came with).Screen is beautiful, it’s ergonomic (way more ergonomic than the Switch for my partner with his larger hands) and a bit heavy but easily get used to it. Can also emulate old Nintendo games pretty well. Not cheap but I’ve definitely got my money’s worth out of it! Makes gaming a lot more accessible to those who are time/money/knowledge/space poor

Love the SD Oled! It’s so much better than the LCD model, it’s noticeably lighter, longer battery life and the screen is beautiful! Runs most games I play like Elden Ring, Diablo 4 on it really well. It came with the international US charger plug (which the name suggests anyway). I use my own USB C charger and works great. The product is brand new and trustworthy!
