Exactly what self-taught programmers need.
I taught myself to program and read a lot of programming books, but this one really stood out. It doesn’t just focus on theory: it focuses on practical application and explains things sensibly. The exercises are practical, and the sections on memory management, object-oriented programming, and debugging are incredibly helpful. I was serious about learning by doing, so I consider this book a great investment.

The book I needed as a self-taught programmer
As a self-taught programming student, I’ve read many programming books, and this one stands out. It’s not just theoretical, it’s practical, and it explains things effectively and clearly. The exercises are practical, and the explanations of concepts like memory management, object-oriented programming, and debugging are extremely helpful. It’s definitely worth it if you’re looking to develop concrete skills.

great resource
The author calls it five books in one. I liked that it was broken down by subject and gave a lot of programming information. It would be a great resource.

Easy and to the point
Book is very easy to understand and easy to become proficient in the language. I have tried the books for dummies and still had issues with the coding but with this one it was very easy to use and understand

Disappointing and Poorly Edited — Not Worth the Money.
I had high hopes for “C# & C++ BIBLE: The Comprehensive Operational Handbook”, but unfortunately, this book fell far short of expectations. While the title promises a detailed and reliable reference, the execution is anything but professional.The biggest issue is the poor quality of the text itself. The sample pages are fuzzy and unclear, making it hard to distinguish certain characters — which is critical when learning programming. On top of that, the book is riddled with typos, including mistakes within the code examples. Following along becomes frustrating when even the examples you’re supposed to learn from don’t work as written.Additionally, the book often mislabels coding concepts and names items incorrectly when explaining different parts of C# and C++. Several tables are incomplete or contain incorrect information, which makes it unreliable as a reference. It truly feels like this book was never proofread by a real coder — or anyone at all.On the positive side, the book does attempt to cover both C# and C++ in one volume, which could have been a great resource if done well. Unfortunately, the lack of accuracy and editing completely undermines its potential.Pros:Covers both C# and C++ in one book.Cons:Fuzzy, hard-to-read textNumerous typos and broken code examplesMislabeling and inaccurate explanationsIncomplete and incorrect tablesPoor proofreading and quality controlVerdict: Save your money — look elsewhere.PS. I returned the book.

Unlocking C# and C++ Power
Compared to those new programming languages like Python, C++ definitely is an “old” language and not many people is using that now. However, if you really learn this language, this book give a full guide on C# and C++ with step by step instructions, tests and secret tips to make you ready for your future in programming. It sometimes feel like too much information at once and the flow jump between topics a bit. By the end you see how this handbook can help you master both languages and build real skills.
