Great phone for the price!
I bought this to use as an EUD with ATAK and Meshtastic. It works great for both of those. This device was the easiest setup so far. It does take a bit to uninstall all the unwanted apps but other than that it’s a great phone. I’m sure it would be wonderful as a normal phone and the price is amazing.

Decent Android for use as an extra device, probably not for gaming
This is a locked phone to Total Wireless/ Verizon.I was able to set up this phone quite easily over 10 to 15 min to use as a backup Android device. Not as a phone.There were a number of security updates to Dec 2025, those took a couple of days to intermittently download, install, reboot, complete install, check again.Motorola does install a bunch of games and nuisance apps with the updates so it is best to do all the updates before configuring the layout and setup.I bought 2 of these – one for a parent to watch videos, one to use for apps not on my personal phone.I quickly realized this phone cannot handle a fast tapping game.Large screen, easy to locate inexpensive cases, and Android setup helps those already familiar to not have to learn new menus.Battery life is quite good with minimal use. wall charger & better charger cord would make this 4 stars
I’ll start with the downsides and work to the good parts.It doesn’t come with a wall charger (idk why companies think this is ok…include one ffs) it comes with a very cheap c cord and mine didnt come with a tray ejector pin.The pros-for the price you get a high resolution screen that can play any video game,emulators,or streaming stuff to watch.The 6.7” screen is big,camera takes great pictures and video.I’m a fan of apple and iphones but they rig it so you run out of storage eventually and need to upgrade,i have nearly 2tb in my icloud so figured it was time to go back to android phones where storage problems just mean buying another micro sd card xD
