Unbelievable clarity and focus.
This phone microscope captures unbelievable detail! It’s easy to use, all the mechanical parts are very smooth, and it’s a sturdy gadget. You do have to be practically touching anything you want to see clearly, so it’s not really ideal for photographing live insects or things of that nature, unless you have an unusually cooperative subject, but man, everything i have captured has been a breeze. My image uploads speakfor themselves– the one of the underside of a spider, which isn’t as sharp as the rest, was captured their m through a not- exceptionally- transparent deli cup. Easy point and shoot, as soon as you’re in range, everything focuses automatically. For the money, I can’t imagine anything better. Granted, I’ve never had the opportunity to use high end, expensive equipment, but the quality of this legit gadget and the images it can capture are far superior to anything I’ve used before.

Built quality was great and fairly easy to use. For what I needed it didnt work well since you need to have the subject very close to the lense and would be very shaky. Magnification was good

Super quality toy to spur on imagination
My 4-year-old niece loves this microscope. She found it easy to use and enjoyed finding things around the yard to take a closer look at.The screen is very clear and allows her to zoom in with ease. The SD card and feature to hook up to a lap top really transform this beyond a small tool with limited visual impact.The portable feature of the microscope is very unique and useful too! It let her explore so much more than the slides it came with. I am happy to say this is plenty sturdy too as it surely hit the ground more than once.I would definitely recommend this microscope! I have wanted to introduce high quality toys that can be enjoyable and educational. One day she just may be using a lab-quality microscope to help save the world!

** video included how to set the language – if you happen to get the Chinese/Mandarin preset model **Don’t let look deceive you! – This is an *EXCELLENT* powerful, little, digital microscope kit for kids..THE GOOD:- SO MANY features.- Excellent focus and clarity- photos and video great quality & true to color- the LCD is a good one, though lacks the resolution and color accuracy of the digital media files- robust & safe for kids- there’s even an “on-the-go” mobile function; simply disconnect the upper scope and LCD part from the main body.- sparks curiosity and maintains attention and interest for sustained periods! Kids want to see EVERYTHING!QUESTIONABLE:- Come in a foreign language with no instruction on how to alter.- Manually data transfer using SD card, no transmission function- Screen color / quality decent, but a larger, higher resolution screen OR a transmission function to an external viewing device would be a vast impovemt.- Pay attention when inserting the memory card: the pins face upDIFFICULTIES:1. There doesn’t appear to be a Bluetooth, or transmitting system on mine, so digital files must be manually copied by removing the memory card. Might need an adapter for that.2. With it being extremely lightweight, it can be challenge to capture and focus in on the object being viewed.. Turning the knobs causes movement and then have to lift the plastic protective cylinder and re-center. This can make for a dlightly annoying iterative process! Thinking about using those Glue Dots next time3. The PRICE – when I received this product I recall the listed price being much lower. The current $60 price point is much too high given the fact it is a plastic toy with many inconvenienced if you intend to use it more seriously.. For not much more money, you can get a serious lab grade microscope, so not sure what’s going on there..Uploaded a few photos from initial test using the sample slides that come with it.. I have a bunch more from seeds etc that I’ll try to get up once files transferred from SD card.Also, I have a bunch of video taken by the microscope wi high are AWESOME but only able to upload one video..

Great for kids, loved by adults!
Don’t let this kid friendly microscope fool you into believing that it’s just for kids. It takes great pictures and videos. The 32gb card included has plenty of room for storing pictures and videos. You can use its platform for viewing the slides included or for any item that you can place on it. I used it to show the kids what a penny looks like under the microscope. I was very impressed with the digital optics. It’s a great item to use on a rainy day for the kids, it could be used all the time to see things on a microscope.
