    Nice kit for multiple people
This is a large medical kit that covers everything from basic daily needs to more trauma-ish events. I usually don’t carry things in my med kits like bug repellant and sun screen but here it is. I don’t usually use a case this large though. I would prefer this kit be bumped up towards the trauma area more and leave out the things like tea bags and use the extra space for oxygen, water and lighting. This is not an emergency kit — it doesn’t include all the things you need to cover all your bases. It is an excellent medical kit and being waterproof makes it appropriate for marine use.

    Excellent kit but priced high
This is a very good kit. It is priced high. But if you don’t want to have to spend the time and effort it takes to assemble your own comprehensive kit, this might still be the option you want.I tried to show a lot of the features in my video. It is exactly as advertised. The case is good. The organization is very helpful. I would definitely reorganize some of the items to fit my own preference. I will add a can of oxygen and a pulse oximeter. And I always want more gauze. But the amounts in the kit are sufficient for multiple people. The case does seem to be waterproof and very tough. I am very happy with the case. There is enough room to add more supplies like a flashlight and matches. This is not the medical kit for everyone. But it is the right kit for some specific situations.

Hefty, pricey kit with supplies for a lot of people
I’m reviewing this as a layperson who has had some first aid training and was briefly CPR certified 20 years ago – so I have basic knowledge but no real medical training. This first aid kit is a hefty 20 lbs (of which half is just the weight of the case), and has dimensions of about 19”x16”x9”, so it’s not something you can just tuck away in a small cabinet or easily carry with you. The case appears to be Pure Outdoor case 10622 ($100 by itself). I verified the certification with the US Coast guard on their database, and the same certification number applies to the Marine 600, 1500, 2500, and 3500 kits. The kit includes seven labeled zipper bags (trauma/dental, burns, medications, bleeding, fracture/sprain, CPR instruments, and wound care) with a packing list on the inside of the top cover so you can find things fairly quickly. I was a little perplexed by the organization – for example, the small “trauma/dental” bag included two sealed dental kits plus an assortment of trauma items (including tourniquets) that seemed like they would better fit in the “bleeding” or “wound care” bags. In a true emergency, more intuitive organization could save precious minutes. There were also several items that were in the wrong bag. It has a great assortment of elastic bandages, Band-Aids, and dressings, but not a ton of gauze pads or sterile cleaning solutions for cleaning larger wounds. It includes a skin stapler (and remover) but no skin-safe superglue. Many items have instructions on their packaging and the first aid manual explains how to use most of the items, but not all – I had to look up Youtube videos on how to use the oral airway kit. There aren’t any specific marine items, aside from the waterproof case, so it would be applicable in a wide variety of settings. I received this kit in August 2023, and the medications had expiration dates ranging from September 2024-December 2025 – so roughly a year or two out, which is adequate but not ideal. Compared to the Marine 2500 kit, this 3500 kit is very similar, with the addition of a cheap blood pressure cuff/stethoscope and duplicate medications and bandages. This comes with a larger case and $220 higher price tag – hardly worth it, in my opinion. Other companies’ first aid kits in this same price range include small oxygen tanks and/or CPR bag valve masks; this one just has a CPR mask without the bag. Also common in this price range are emergency kits with whistles, flare guns, etc in addition to first aid supplies, but this one has solely first aid items. It seems like the approach for this kit is to cover more minor injuries on a larger number of people. It would be difficult but not impossible to put together a similar kit for less than the cost of this one, although you’d probably end up with much larger quantities of medications.

    Massive and well organized
This is probably as good as it gets short of calling the paramedics. It’s a huge kit but it’s not in a pile, they have contained the different products in separate packages for quick deployment and usage, and all in the high visibility waterproof case. It’s a bit heavy, in the 20 pound range, but it’s designed for a bigger group and a large vehicle. It’s expensive true but it gets a lot cheaper looking if you get hurt far from a doctor and need emergency care.

    > $800 For This Kit is Absurd
You should be able to assemble the components of this kit, including the Pelican case, for less than $250.
