From legendary tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou comes a motivational and inspirational guide to help readers achieve new success in any endeavor.
Superstar coach Patrick Mouratoglou knows what it takes to win. An international icon in the world of tennis, he coached Serena Williams for a decade at the height of her career. Now he currently coaches four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka and has worked with numerous top players over the years, including Holger Rune, Coco Gauff, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and many more. In Champion Mindset, Mouratoglou distills his lifetime of coaching excellence into ten commandments applicable to achieving success in all aspects of life, not just the court. Mouratoglou’s emphasis on coaching the player’s mindset is what makes him singularly successful as a tennis coach and effective in helping the rest of us reach our goals. He shows us how to embrace the “Progress Zone”—which challenges us and keeps us moving forward. He teaches us how to “Modify Your Inner Language” to turn every moment into an opportunity instead of a place to doubt our intentions. And how to “Take Responsibility for Results”—and really embody it.
In addition to being an extraordinary self-help book, Champions Mindset is a gripping personal story in which Coach Patrick reveals his own difficult but rewarding journey. The lessons, insights, and experiences shared in this book are a roadmap to help every reader find their own path to success, however they define it.

Champion Mindset
A Mentalist’s Masterpiece – Thank You, Patrick MouratoglouThis book is a treasure. I’ve read many personal development books, but Champion Mindset stands out because it combines wisdom, vulnerability, and clarity in such a powerful way.Patrick Mouratoglou doesn’t just teach you how champions win — he shows you how they fall, rise, doubt, persist, and grow. His stories are real. His insights are direct. His mindset advice is not only for tennis players — it’s for anyone who wants to show up for themselves and reach their true potential.Patrick is known as “The Mentalist” of the tennis world. His ability to see beyond technique and dive into the mind of the player is what makes him legendary. I’m one of those tennis fans who watch more post-match interviews than matches. So, believe me when I say: Patrick’s words here are golden. If I had the chance to ask Patrick a question, it would be this:“Looking back at all the champions you’ve coached — across all their differences — what invisible quality did you spot in each of them before they could see it themselves… and how much of that quality mirrors something in your own personality?”Because I believe that invisible quality — the one you spotted before anyone else — is the spark you help ignite in each of us.

A Unique Tennis Coach Who Describes his Warts & All
I’m a big fan of Patrick’s. He has great short reels on coaching that I find very insightful so I really looked forward to this book. I strongly prefer biographical stories rather than “management theory”. This is a cross between the two so for me it was a little slow at times. So, why the high rating? Well, the positive, real world examples be it Serena Williams, Baghdatis or others are worth the payoff. What is really interesting is his backstory: His shyness, his love of tennis, his short business career and ultimately his jump to coaching. A big part of the book covers his partner in his new school, the good beginning and the ultimate parting. He actually is quite humble as he describes the many errors he made in his career. Overall, a very good book.

New eyes for known principles
Excellent book. Worth the read. Easy to read. The concepts aren’t new, but they are presented through new eyes. And for this, it’s helpful.

You Can’t Afford Him As Coach
This is a good book no matter how much I can’t stand French people. He makes somegood points but how you use it is not given since he is not your coach.

Not helpful and boring
I bought this book hoping it would help me manage my pre-match nerves and give practical routines or mental strategies for tennis. Instead, it was all about the author — his relationships with Bob, his guilt, his depression, and his time with Serena Williams. Nothing useful for someone looking for actionable advice.I really respect him and watch his YouTube videos, but this book was boring and not helpful at all.

Better books on the topic elsewhere
Disappointed, was waiting for practical tips and inspo.. just wasn’t going anywhere. Lots of tedious rambling and cliche points.

Amazing book that helped me to understand myself and my game . I now know what I need to work on although the book was not about tennis techniques !

Un grande sì per il coach che Mouratoglou è, ma un grande “insomma” per il libro scritto. Cose già dette e ridette a mio parere.

Ótimo.

I stopped reading it half way through. This book was disappointing. I loved Open by Andre Agassi. It made more about his mindset than himself. Patrick’s ego shows in this book. It feels more like an autobiography than a mindset book.
