Great headset for a small price point!
I sat and played some World of Warcraft with these and was pleasantly surprised! I have a few headsets that are $300 and up. While I expected these not to be on the same level, I wasn’t expecting them to sound as good as they do. You can hear footsteps on grass, dirt and wood clearly. Running water sounds distinct depending on whether or not there is a small stream or the roar of a waterfall. Flying insects and voices are good. One thing I couldn’t tell while listening with these was location of voices or certain wildlife sounds, but what I did hear was clear enough for someone who doesn’t put a lot of stock in audio quality. Explosions and booms are pretty decent while magical ranged attacks are a little under what I hoped for. They are good enough, but I’m so used to what my usual headset puts out that I feel that the mid-range sound effects on these are a little under par.The mic is detachable, which is a major plus. I’m not always grouped up and I’d rather not have the mic in my face outside of dungeons or raiding. It is adjustable by bending it to where it picks up the best sound. It picked up my voice easily enough.Black and red are great colors, so aesthetically I’m happy with them. I run Horde mostly, so the colors work well. They also included a 3.5 auxiliary splitter cable. There is a control point on the cable that has a slider option to mute or unmute the mic. There is also a volume up or down wheel. The cable itself is braided so it is more durable. Unless you have elephant sized ears, the cups will close over your ear to keep outside noise to a minimum. The ear cups are nice and comfortably soft, even if they are a little tight. These are new, so it could take a bit of time before they break in enough to loosen up. I wear glasses, but when raiding, I wear contacts because I have yet to find a headset that doesn’t put pressure on the nerve behind my ears while gaming with glasses on. The difference in quality being how long it takes until the pain kicks in.For the price of these you can’t go wrong for anyone that isn’t into high-end audio reproduction and wants a great headset for a small price point. The headphone stand is one that I purchased a while ago and is not included with this headset.

Get your game on!
I spend a lot of time on computer both for work and gaming. I needed a quality headset after my old one stopped working. This Reddragon wired headset is not only a replacement but a major upgrade. This headset is the nicest one I’ve ever had. This headset is a wired and has a very nice long cord to get you room to move around in. The mic and headphones are very comfortable and I can wear them for hours. They have great crisp and clear sound quality both listening and speaking. If you need a quality headset that will last you for years, this is the one to get!

Perfectly good gaming headphones, not the best for music.
Sound is good, but to be a bit picky: voices sound somewhat hollow and empty, while heavy guitars end up crunchy and claustrophobic. Overall I’d say music sounds a bit “nasal”. Low end extension is impressive without bass being overbearing. So by ear, it sounds as though there are some dips in the mids but otherwise a very fleshed out sound signature. They’re also not the most detailed pair of headphones but they’re very sufficient, and pretty good for the price. Soundstage is fairly narrow but you won’t get a particular spatial set of close-backed headphones for this price. The cable is nice and flexible; the woven sleeve doesn’t make it too bulky or stiff. It does create some microphonics noise when rubbing against clothing, though. At two meters it’s quite long and also nondetachable, generally fine for desk use but not suited at all for moving aboutThe inclusion of inline volume control is very much appreciated; when many digital volume controls have large volume steps, the fine control is great. However, it is very easy to adjust, be it on purpose or by accident. Bumping it with your arm or pinching it between your body and a chair or something will often change the volume, especially since the volume wheel sticks out on either side of the inline control. It also doesn’t have any buttons in case you want to use it with a phone and control calls etc., just the volume wheel and a mic mute switch.Build quality isn’t exactly premium, with some looseness on the headband padding and just some small unpolished details, but it doesn’t affect their fit or sound so it’s still good for the price in my opinion. Anything that matters is well done, from the metal cup brackets to the plastic cups themselves and flexible headband. The headband is actually really nice regarding its clamping force and flexibility, but it might create a bit of pressure on your scalp if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing. The plastic build also lends well to keeping it from being to heavy. The cloth earpads are comfortable but I don’t really like the material personally. When it rubs against skin or hair it’s a bit noisy, but that’s minor, subjective, and doesn’t detract from the fact that they are comfortable and seal rather quite well.Performing some measurements on the headphones I find an expected dip in the lower mids which affects how voices sound, as well as a sharp dip around 4kHz which isn’t uncommon to find, followed by a peak at 6.2kHz. Those latter bits are typical of basic measurement setups like I use, and I didn’t hear anything that made me suspect anything odd there anyhow. I used the following filters to flatten things out a bit:30 Hz, +3 dB, Q = 0.18260 Hz, -2 dB, Q = 0.667350 Hz, 3 dB, Q = 1.4141.2 kHz, -4 dB, Q = 1.9116.3 kHz, -4 dB, Q = 2.871That said, they sound pretty good regardless and don’t need any help in doing so unless you’re doing critical listening. That is, for gaming and voice chat these are great and I’m just a stickler for audio.

Impressive Headset
This gaming headset impresses for the price. I prefer to have the volume and mic mute controls on the cord—a real plus for me. The sound is surprisingly clear, letting me hear footsteps and directional audio with ease. The mic delivers loud, crisp performance with zero static. It’s lightweight, adjustable, and features soft, comfortable ear cushions. Five stars for excellent sound quality, comfort, and value.

Decent
It’s nothing compared to sennheiser, but for the price and the quality, it’s a really nice for the headset. It works fine for communication, but for listening to music/game, it’s alright, not the best for it.
