Great Ball-top Joystick
Surprisingly solid and well made for the price. Feel is really good, clicky but not overly so (better than happ bat-top in both feel and noise for instance). Very similar to the name-brand stick this one copies, but of course a lot cheaper. I’ve not switched from 8-way (to 4-way) but the perspex gate looks exactly the same as the branded ‘JLF’ joystick so I would imagine the instructions to switch are the same.If you’re mounting to a thick wood panel you’ll need to do some woodwork as this is intended to be top mounted but that’s not the fault of this stick.

Check if it’s wired in reverse!
The joystick is fine. My only gripe with it is that it has to be wired with its own cable. Dupont connectors are too loose.I am convinced that anyone saying “only one button/direction works” has it wired in reverse. I made the exact same mistake and had only 1 button working, but reversing the connector made it work. The ground pin is the one closest to the edge of the board.

The switches are not independently wired. You use the five prong plug.

I got it defected yeah
When I bought it it came as the way the picture showed it but the Michael switches or defected and would not work when I installed them but that’s the only thing I had with it
