Good value, good quality, well thought out set in a nice bag.
This is a good value for a very comprehensive, well thought out portable first aid kit with a good variety of items included in a nice carrying bag. There are 516 total items in the set. You’ll want to refer closely to the listing pictures and charts to see what all is included. There is so much included in the set that it’s easier to follow what is included if you look at a chart or picture with the items and quantities.I saved and printed out the listing picture with that chart and put it in the bag for reference. I highly suggest doing this. The reason is that there are so many items in the bag. They put a lot of items in a relatively small space, the bag is very, very full. They did label some areas and that helps. But figuring out and remembering all the items in the set is going to be easier if you have a print out. It will make it easier to see what’s in the set and help find it.This is a good kit for home, camping, hiking, emergency preparedness, travel, work, school or to leave in a vehicle for emergencies. Personally it’s my emergency to go first aid kit.Note that the bag with all the items in the set is fairly large and fairly heavy.Bag weight including the first aid set inside the bag: 4.3 pounds (the bag and all the items in the bag as it is when you get it)Bag Size:-Width: 9.8”-Depth: 4.7”-Height: 4.7”The bag is very good quality, nice and well made of 1680 D polyester. You can rearrange the set and remove items, add items and customize the set in the bag. The bag is bright red and is clearly labeled as a first aid bag and has reflective strips. The bag is rated to be waterproof. It has a full zipper closure. The bag has a lot of compartments on the inside and outside and it utilizes the space well. Some areas are labeled inside the bag for the type of issue or supplies in the section. The bag has a top carrying hand strap and a detachable shoulder strap. There is a strap around the front to attach the bag to another bag or your waist. It can be worn as a waist bag if you adjust it, but it is fairly heavy. The bag has elastic mollee straps on the outside to attach items to the bag or the bag to other items (such as a vehicle headrest or backpack). There is an ID card pocket (no ID card or ID card blank) on the front of the bag.A small emergency care first aid booklet is included in the kit. What you can use this kit for and what’s included:-minor scrapes, wounds and cuts (cleansing, covering with bandages, bandaids)-burns (cold pack, cleansing, burn care topical, bandages and bandaids)-blisters (cleansing, bandages and moleskin covers)-removing splinters, insect stingers and ticks (tweezers, wound care and bandaids)-minor insect stings and bites (tweezers, sting relief wipes, cleansing, bandaids)-checking fever and cooling (thermometer, cooling fever patch)-minor finger or toe sprain (finger splint, tape, bandages)-eye washing with eye wash-minor sprains (ankle, wrist, knee) (elastic bandages)There is some personal protection included with a CPR mask cover, disposable gloves, face masks. Trauma sheer scissors are also included to help remove clothing or open it up when there is an injury. One thing to note is that the kit includes a tourniquet. A tourniquet should not be used by someone untrained in where to place it and how to use it, except as a last resort in extreme circumstances. There can be serious consequences and loss of life and or limb if a tourniquet is used or placed improperly. You’ll want to educate yourself about this before even considering using it. I would try to avoid using it and wait for professional help if at all possible. Some items that are not in this kit that you may want to note or add. Or you could attach them to a bag or pouch to this kit.Not included in the kit:-Ambi bag and face mask for ventilation (the kit does have a CPR face shield)-No medications of any sort that are taken by mouth. I’d suggest having Tylenol, Aspirin, Imodium and Benadryl in a kit, I have all of those in my kits. They do include an empty 7 day medication holder that you can put your own medication in.-No topical antibiotic or wound care creams.-No skin staples, skin sutures or skin glue. There is a survival emergency part of the kit that can be used for emergencies.Included:-Thermal blanket (for cold, or to put over an injured person to prevent cold or shock or to protect from rain)-Emergency rain poncho-Compass-Metal Whistle-Glow stick-Marker pen (to leave notes, can also be used to draw a margin on wound edges and bug bites to monitor swelling and spread)

Very Comprehensive Kit
Over 4 pounds of First Aid and Survival essentials with some non essentials thrown in. Nothing I found in this kit isn’t a practical addition. Do I need a 7 day pill box in a first aid situation? Probably not, but you can always load the pill box with items you may need in an emergency situation. Most items have expiration dates between 2028 and 2030. Sterile items are clearly marked as such. A small first aid pamphlet and kit inventory is found in one of the front pouches that also contains the shoulder strap if you want to set up your kit that way. We’ll keep this in our front door coat closet. If we need to leave our home, it goes with us. Someone arrives at the door with an issue, the kit is there. We have an incident at home that requires more than the basic first aid supply, we know where the kit is.This kit is a great addition to the small kit I keep in my vehicle just in case I’m ever hurt while out doing hobby stuff or anyone else has an incident. The small kit was good, but this kit is much more comprehensive.I can’t say enough about the practical organization of the kit. You’ve got 5 major supply types all neatly arranged in the main compartment. The two side pockets hold the survival/non first aid supplies. While packed to the gills with items, I’m sure you can find room for anything you find important that may have been excluded. For example, a butane lighter and/or emergency candle.

Comprehensive kit with everything you need to grab and go in an emergency
This massive first aid kit is packed to the brim with supplies. It’s designed to be an entirely comprehensive, all-in-one solution, and is quite large, meaning it is better kept at home or in a vehicle, and does not pack light for travel. It does feature a strap across the back to thread it over or attach it to another bag, meaning this could be packed for camping or backpacking, but at nearly 5 pounds, carries significant weight and bulk. A small all-in-one pouch with standard supplies like Band-Aids, gauze, etc., however, does detach to provide a travel sized side kit that can be packed as desired when the larger kit must be left behind.Beyond the size, however, this kit is absolutely packed with supplies. Unzipping the main zipper opens the bag up into an easy to access “hanging toiletry kit” style layout, where pockets fold up into one another, separated by zippers, and then unfold to lay flat and provide quick access to all contents. Each type of supply is organized and labeled (e.g. “burns”, “sterilization”, etc.) to allow for quick identification and selection in an emergency situation. The entire bag is made of a heavy grade canvas to stand up to rugged use.PRODUCT INSIGHT: This kit is certainly designed to be a grab and go emergency and survival solution, as it includes not only first aid supplies, but basic survival tools as well, including poncho, whistle, compass, glow sticks, etc.
