Light weight cooling fan. Edges are rough on the skin when balancing in my lap but it keeps the computer cool. The lights on one of the fans burnt out almost immediately but the fan still works.

Bad fans, but…
I am comparing this to an old laptop fan I’ve been using, and quickly this one was beaten. The fan production was sad, even for the tiny fans that were supplied, and on the larger model. To be fair, the old fan had huge blades, but a similar price point. I was about to grab a refund, and it’s still in consideration.However, the claim to fame of this device is obviously the rising mechanism. If you intend to use this fan horizontally, do not purchase, there are far better for this price point. However, the lean of this device appears sturdy, and it does add far more cooling based on that angle alone. Considering this device functions as a fan-and-riser all-in-one, and doesn’t force you to buy both and attempt to connect them, this is a very functional product. I’m not yet certain this is what i was going for, but this cooling beats horizontal fans pretty much hands-down, best I’m aware.I do get the sense I hear the fans more than I should brand new, especially with the minute size of them. I fear it could develop a buzz down the road. That said, it’s still quieter than my older one, for the moment, even if it appears to lack fan power to go with it.Very mixed package on this one, but still possibly a very worthwhile purchase, as long as it holds up.

Sturdy enough even for dinosaur lappies, plenty of cooling, very adjustable
I get the impression it’s cheaply made but it’s exactly what I needed. I’m using this with an ancient Dell 17” lappie that weighs over 8lbs. and it perfectly props it up while keeping the fans right next to the bottom of the casing. The angle is quite variable and can exceed what any normal person would need, height-wise. I could do without the lighting, what really is the point? I guess the young’uns like ’em. All in all, could not be happier!

USB port connection bad
So, this particular cooler was purchased to replace one I had that was reaching it’s limit and at first this pad was great. Not nearly as loud in my opinion as other reviews had made it out to be and much better cooling then my previous one. However, that being said the extra usb port in the back seems to occasionally lose connection. I have a external keyboard plugged into the port in the extra port in the back of the cooler because my laptop only has 2 ports with one being used for the mouse and the other the cooling pad which means if I want to use an external keyboard I need to use the extra port or purchase a usb hub. After several days of use there will be occasional periods of time where my keyboard just turns off and isn’t responsive unless I plug it in directly to the laptop itself. If it wasn’t for this issue which currently seems unpredictable it would be an easy 5 stars. But because it can be a huge issue in gaming I have to take a few stars away.

Wonderful laptop cooling station!!
This Laptop Cooling Station (LCS) is great – well deserving of 5 stars! The only downside is that one of the fans sounds just a tiny bit off kilter? Not even noticeable under normal use (I have to listen hard for it). The upsides? Many! This LCS truly helps an overheating laptop of mine to run normally; I am impressed at how much the LCS helps. (Wish I’d bought this LCS sooner.) You can use this LCS flat or at an angle; I use mine at a shallow angle and it actually helps my wrists to feel more comfortable. The blue fan lights aren’t noticeable (the laptop itself covers them up) and the bottom tab that helps hold the laptop in place (not even necessary at shallow angles) is low enough as to not even touch my hands in any way. As per the picture, I plug my LCS (via USB cable) into a HOPOW surge protector (sold on Amazon) for power. The LCS comes with a 3 ft USB cable, but I bought a 6 ft for easier use (cable also sold on Amazon). Btw, the wrist support is Amazon Basics (sold, of course, on Amazon), and the monitor stand (by EVOOMI) behind the LCS is sold as a 2 pack (guess where? Amazon, of course!). I am happy with and highly recommend them all.

Die Tmeperaturen für CPU und GPU steigen um 4°C. Es scheint der Hohlraum zwischen Laptiop und Lüfter zu groß zu sein. So können die “schwachen “Lüfter” nichts bewirken!
