It works as well as my Apple Original remote
The pad on my Apple TV remote began to work inconsistently. You want to right it went left it was annoying to watch tv especially if your channel surfing. Although this repmote doesn’t have a track pad it uses directional arrow buttons it gets the job done. A actual Apple replacement remote cost close to $60 which is ridiculous. This one cost was around $10 and I’m able to do the same as my Apple Remote I have a Sony 55”tv and it works the volume and mute along with off and on power. And it did that right out of the package if it’s lasts a year I’ll be happy. One thing additional it doesn’t have the range of the original but it’s ok for at least 25 feet. But you need to point it at the box I could use the old one through the blanket when in bed this must be in open. I’m still satisfied with its operation

Simple remote
I was searching for a long time a simple remote that can control both samsung tv and apple tv. This one works like a charm. It has minimal buttons unlike the universal remote, but has all controls which are required.

It was perfect for my TV. The home and guide buttons are in a different spot, but it was easy to adjust to it. It was cheap ( Yay!) and worth it every penny at the same time!
