Works very well with good sound quality despite mute issues
Overall I’m very happy with the mic. The 3.5mm end that goes into the headphone can rotate, making the boom rotate away or closer to the mouth, but if you’re sitting down and and not moving around a lot, its not an issue.I bought this because a slightly more expensive similar unit with a mic mute switch had issues with its TRRS connection. This one does not have any issues with the electrical contacts on the TRRS nor the TRS headphone connection, and works perfectly, other than the mute button.The issue with the mute button is that it only mutes the mic while you are holding the button down. You have to keep holding the button down to continue to mute. As soon as you release the button, you’re unmuted. Its a pretty poor design.Additionally pressing the mute button introduces a loud pop into the mic, that others will hear very clearly. There’s a little less loud pop when you finally release the button. Overall this mute button is useless, so I don’t use it. I’ll use the mute button on my audio interface or meeting software.Overall I’m very satisfied with the sound quality of the mic and its overall function, despite the mute issue.

I LOVE with this product! I was looking for a mic to use with my Sony (WH-CH720N) over the ear headphones, that I could plug into my XBox controller for online gameplay. This works so well, it sounds better quality than the typical internal mic on laptops. It’s flexible and easy to use, plug and play, very happy with this product!!

It’s pretty self explanatory, it works. Sound quality is good. Giving it 4 stars because of the lack of mute option. there’s a mute button you’d have to hold down to mute yourself. A tip i can give though: hold down your mute button before plugging it into your computer, controller etc and it will permanently mute. (until you unplug it and replug it back in that is) Annoying having to unplug and replug it in all the time but at-least i found a way around the mute problem.

It’s cheap, and it works, can’t ask for much more.
I bought this mic for my Xbox, because Xbox doesn’t have a microphone input port. I used these with a pair of Phillips SHP9600s and they work fine with them, powering the headphones at full volume.However , the sound quality isn’t the best. But this can be forgiven because of the price.

I’ve had for a year and it works good!
I don’t bend it or anything to take care of it, the cable works fine and I haven’t gotten any noise/sound/volume complaints. I connected to my WH-1000XM4 it does the job! Sound works well on both ends. I did lose the mic foam cover but it’s all good.

The noise canceling is not to great, they do pick up a few noises, but the headphones wire with mic is way better than I expected, for the price!! Would definitely buy again!! Works great for my Bluetooth Head Set, to connect to a Non-Bluetooth Controller for gaming..

en mi caso particular tengo unos sony xm4, los uso para escuchar musica y reciente mente para jugar en xbox, como hay que conectarlos por cable al control, el microfono de estos no funciona, asi que compre este cablesillo para tener microfono, y funciona de maravilla, el audio sigue siendo el mismo, con las bondades de los xm4, agregando el microfono para la consola, y funciona perfectamente, me escuchan fuerte, claro y sin distorsiones, asi que para esta funcion es perfecto
