Inspiring, Instructive beautiful artwork
I pre-ordered this book and couldn’t wait for it to be delivered! It did not disappoint! I was totally impressed with her Beautiful Faces book and even more blown away by this one! The way she breaks things down and simplifies them makes it so easy to understand. Jane is an inspiring and caring teacher who makes you believe in your ability to draw and encourages you to do it. Her drawings alone are inspiring and she also has tutorials to go along with her books so you can watch her draw and paint her sketches. Seriously, the images alone are worth the price of these books.

I am loving this book! Well written and easy to read.l and understand. I don’t have to read stuff over and over again to figure what’s being said which makes learning the topic more enjoyable. This book is helping me be more excited about being an effective life coach!

The book is a bit out of date but you can still use it in your tool box as a life coach as a start kit.

Good first book
Had to buy this to go with a training. It was an easy read. Lots of practical advice. There was a lot of reliance on some techniques that are not supported by research, so I took it all with a grain of salt. Good advice on the business aspects of setting up a practice.

Excellent coaching techniques
I’ve read a few coaching books but none so detailed and organized as this one. The author has created a program that moves chapter to chapter, from beginning techniques to more advanced techniques. If followed in order, the potential coach with learn from start to finish how to begin a coaching session, what to say, how to organize the session correctly, how to communicate effectively with the client and motivate them to improve their lives. It also contains information on how to start your own coaching business. There are many valuable techniques to choose from as well. I was more than impressed with this book!

This is one of the finest instructional books I have ever delved into. Ms. Martin has a simple, yet powerful way of sharing her ideas and experiences. Many times I have read similar works that speak only to theories rather than the nuts and bolts of how to begin the actual work. I have bought another copy of The Life Coaching Handbook, as I’m thinking of starting a new business.When I originally bought this book, it actually changed my life and career. It inspired me to become a Life Coach and I went on to have my own Life Coaching and Business Coaching businesses. Life Coaching is very powerful and the book covers a huge amount of useful topics, including the different communication styles you can use and how to ask clients open questions. It also gives guidance onbuilding a coaching practice, together with many other valuable coaching tools. I can highly recommend this book to learn how to be a Life Coach and also how to communicate well.

I am just a beginner to this life coaching. I have done some training sessions so a bit of knowledge is there. This book is super easy to follow and is nicely compacted so one can’t get distracted. some amazing techniques followed with some examples to fully understand it. Would recommend to anyone who is wanting a nice compact understanding and to someone who needs a push in which direction to start.
