Good Performance for a Modest Price
My wife and I are pleased with our new Vivobook 16. It performs as we expect for a modestly-priced notebook PC.My wife and I purchased an ASUS Vivobook 16 F1605VA-ES56 in Aug 2025; our Vivobook was manufactured in May 2025. The computer features an Intel Core i5-13420H CPU, 16GBytes of DDR4 RAM, a 512GByte M.2 PCIe Gen4x4 SSD, and Windows 11 Home. The ASUS web site says this Vivobook variant was introduced in 2025; therefore, review comments dated before 2025 may not apply to Vivobook 16 F1605VA-ES56.We use our Vivobook 16 for schoolwork, web browsing, online business transactions, teleconferencing, and email while we travel. Apps we use most are Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote), Zoom, and MS Edge web browser. Our Vivobook works just fine for these tasks, running these apps.Other comments:– Battery life is unimpressive, but it’s fine for us: We mostly use our Vivobook where electric power is available.– The Vivobook’s display meets our modest portable computer needs. The display presents documents, photos, web pages, and instructional videos with adequate quality. It would probably satisfactorily display 1080p movies. We don’t use our Vivobook for video/photo editing or for gaming.– This Vivobook variant does not support Intel Iris Xe Graphics, although the Amazon ad says that it does. We were not surprised by this because we researched this variant’s capabilities at online sites other than Amazon. Absence of this higher-end graphics capability is not a dealbreaker for us because of our plain & simple expectations for the machine … and Iris’ capabilities probably would be wasted on this machine’s humble display.– The Vivobook’s built-in speakers acceptably reproduce audio from online videos and the human voice. We would use external speakers if we chose to listen to music or watch movies.– The built-in 720p webcam, microphone, and audio system meet our expectations during online meetings.– We are happy with the keyboard and touchpad. The keyboard does not have a backlight, and we do not require one.– This Vivobook variant supports Modern Standby (sleep state S0 Low Power Idle). We like the “always online” and snappy wake-up this feature enables. We find the computer ready to use when we need it.If your notebook PC needs are similar to ours, I recommend the ASUS Vivobook 16 F1605VA-ES56.

Solid Laptop
So far works really good for what I need it for which entails of medium to heavy multitasking. Laptop is able to handle the work load no problem. Display is nice as well and sound quality is good once you boost it in settings. 4 stars because I feel like the battery life isn’t that great however overall a solid laptop for the price. Only thing would make this laptop better is a backlit keyboard 😁

Avoid Asus VivBook, save yourself the headache
I’ve had great luck with Asus products in the past but this is not one of them. I would highly recommend avoiding the VivoBook series and shop elsewhere. There are times where the laptop will not turn on, the screen constantly goes black for seconds at a time, it loses Wi-Fi connection frequently, and the mouse touchpad will lose its calibration sending the mouse all over the screen. Please save your money.

Great value for the price
Really good laptop for that price it’s just a great finding, light, good performance for basic and some semi exigent tasks, good base frequency, screen presents good colors and resolution, battery is not super great but lasts for 2-4 hours which works for me

Love it!
Great product, great price. This is a very lightweight computer with good sound, ease of use, easy setup, that doesn’t get hot like HP laptops. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a laptop.

Not bad for that price
It’s not a bad laptop for the price. I bought it quickly and in a hurry—I didn’t have time to choose. In reality, it wasn’t as beautiful or pleasant to the touch. The quality of the materials is low. It does its job well, but I wouldn’t buy the same one again. The sound is very quiet, but I think this is a problem with all laptops of this brand. If you care about quality materials and build quality, I don’t recommend it
