A very sturdy uncrappy product
I had just about given-up trying to find a good solution to keep my laptop off my legs while couch-surfing the internet. All of the pivoting side-couch products under $100 seemed too janky. I saw this option and its potential to meet my need and considered it for a while. I eventually measured the specs against my environment where I need to use it and could not deny it may work well. Honestly, for the price, I was doubting the glowing reviews about the quality were legit, thinking, surely, all of these positive reviews were only planted seller hype. But, I’m an Amazon Prime member; meaning, returns are much less of a hassle. So, I gave it a try.Assembly and mounting took me all of 30 minutes. It came with everything needed other than my pair of hands. I mounted this bad-boy to a sturdy coffee table; and, wow, what a pair! This thing is as solid as they can come and sleek enough that it doesn’t look embarrassingly like a home grown solution. Even my wife who, when she discovered what I was shopping for and had said, “No! That will look tacky,” had to admit it does not look bad at all.It wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. But, it definitely fit the bill for what I need. And, installation was so easy, I can quickly unmount this holder (in about two minutes) and install it anywhere else I might find another need to use it.Thanks, Mountup, for such a quality build at a great price!
