I also ordered 2 other cases, and this is the one I will be using. I like this one primarily because it fits snugly, it has the 360degree rotating ring on the back, and the #1 thing I like is that this works with Magsafe Charging. The other two more “stylish” options I got both say that they work with Magsafe Charging, but they do not. So I’m using this case.The only thing I don’t like about this case, is that it makes the phone itself seem thicker, which destroys the point of the iPhone Air.To keep my reviews consistent, this is my Review Scale:5 Stars – Good product, something about it is better than I expected, would recommend.4 Stars – Good Product, with quality that I would expect. Perfect case
Matched the pictures and description, fit my new iPhone 17 air perfectly.Grip ring / stand:I’m really happy with how shallow the pop-out ring is. I have a case on a different device where the ring really sticks out and it easily catches when pulling it out of a pocket, but this one sits fairly flush and doesn’t feel bulky. Still provides solid support when tilting the phone. Turning the ring, you hear and feel a nice clicking sound from the teeth the keep the ring in place once positioned- gives me the feeling of solid construction.Overall Feel:The sides feel soft, with just enough grip to feel secure. The back is very smooth to the touch. The transparency of the back is a bit hazy, so it’s not going to show true color of your phone or a sticker, except around the camera- that raised area on the 17 air is protected by a bevel, but no additional coverage. The overall design keeps it lightweight and without bulk, which I prefer.Charging:MagSafe charging works great. It has a STRONG connection to my various charging stations at home, office, and in my car.

Great Protection and Style, but Some Texture Issues
I really like the SURPHY silicone case for my iPhone Air—the stone color looks great, and the soft silicone feels nice and grippy in the hand. The microfiber lining inside adds a layer of protection against scratches, and it fits snugly without adding much bulk. Plus, MagSafe works perfectly with it, which is a big plus.That said, I’m not a huge fan of the silicone texture because it tends to pick up lint easily. Also, since my skin gets pretty oily, I find myself constantly wiping the case down to keep it looking clean.Another thing is the case fully covers the camera plateau, which adds a bit of weight compared to other cases that leave that area exposed. It’s noticeable but not a dealbreaker given the extra protection.Overall, I think it’s a solid case if you prioritize protection and MagSafe compatibility, but just be prepared for some extra cleaning and a bit more weight.

Used to buy the same brand case for each new phone, not anymore
I usually purchase the same brand and case with each new phone I get. I decided to break the cycle with the air and try something new and I am glad I did.This case has the same texture, comfort, and thin profile as the big name brand case I usually get that is more expensive. On top of that, this case has the metallic ring on the back that lets me stand my phone up on my nightstand, desk, or anywhere else. The name brand has another case with this ring but it is more than double the price and there is virtually no difference. Overall, very happy with this case and will buy again.
