Nice little microscope for exploring outdoors!
Very happy with this purchase! Our kids love seeing everything up close and it’s easy to use. Such a fun thing to have with kids and sparks curiosity. Our kids love taking it on walks. We have had it for a while now and have had no problems with any of the functions. We have 5 kids 2 through 12 years and the only one who can’t use it yet is the 2 year old. Probably more appropriate for any kid at least 3 or 4 years and up.

I bought this for my granddaughter. It’s a birthday present. She hasn’t seen it yet, but I wanted to check it out a bit. It was well worth the money. Great functionality, easy to recharge. I was surprised at the magnification. I’m very excited to see her face when she sees. It. I’m sure she will take it with her on walks and trips. I highly recommend it.

It’s a great tool for a kiddo to be able to run around outside and even find smaller things to place under it. It’s kind of like a high-tech toy. I wouldn’t necessarily consider it a tool but it’s definitely powerful enough to see some neat things. The fact that you can take pictures with it, save them and it comes with a cool carrying case makes it a win for us. The case means she can take it around to the park and play with their friends. It makes it an all-around great gift even for pre teen.

Not strong enough
The profile on Amazon leads you to believe the microscope can focus and allow for a clear image of cells for things like a leaf etc., it does not ! It is not worth the money, it only enhances a little of what you are trying to get an image of cells.

Didn’t meet our expectations
The photo examples they show are not what you’re going to get. It’s not going to look like your HD TV and not that colorful and we found it only works indoors. You cannot see the screen at all if you take outside in the sun. Things like fabric from your shirt, cracks in the floor, etc looked cool, but this lost my 5yo attention quickly, as we thought he could go on an adventure outside with this and look at bugs, plants etc. The focus on this is also very sensitive.

This is not a typical microscope, it uses a camera lens to provide magnification l. Having said that, it is still worth the money as it provides sufficient magnification to view insects, spiders, flys etc. I can make out the tiny hairs on a spiders legs and see the detail of a flys head. It ca be used without the slides for instance on a field trip to view the intricacies of plants and insects. Definitely worth the money as it ignites the desire to investigate and learn more. A good starter microscope without spending too much
