Learns the numbers. Different toddler learns differently.
Pro: Shows you the stroke of each number of how to trace it over with your finger.Have the exact number of picture when counting.Have a tiny page to let your toddler be curious of what’s inside the small page.Teaches your toddler to count.Con: NothingOverall, I recommend to any toddler that likes to read books. Also to toddler who likes to flip open the books. For me, my 2.5 year old is not into reading so this book didn’t worked for him. He rather learns his number through YouTube because he’s more into music. He’s my first toddler, so I thought that all toddler will be the same when it comes to learning. So before you decide to purchase this book, make sure that your toddler likes books. I still gave it a 5 star because this book is really helpful for some toddler. I gave this book to my nephew who is 3 and he enjoyed it. That’s because he’s a book smart and mines is not. It really depends on what your toddler is into.

Interactive and fun learning
My daughter really enjoys opening the flaps in this book to reveal the final number of the item on the page. We count out the figures together and talk about what’s on the page such as puppies, dolls, cookies, etc. She has not started tracing the numbers yet, but that will come as she gets older. She’s having fun while also learning about numbers.

My toddlers favorite!
My daughter just turned 2 and she absolutely loves this and the ABC book. She hasn’t exactly figured out how to trace yet, but she does attempt to by mimicking me, which I think is great and I’m sure she’ll get the hang of it over the next year. I keep these books right next to the potty, so she always keeps her self entertained in there. Prior to getting this book she only knew how to count to 10, but after a week of having the book she mastered counting to 20, and we all know once you can count to 20 everything beyond that is a breeze. Now the only caveat is, like other people have stated, the pictures aren’t that great and don’t always correlate, but overall still a great book and I highly recommend. And as far as the math problems at the end of the book, I quite like them. Will toddlers understand it by themselves, no. But if you do it together and make it interactive, I feel like it’s a great introduction to math/addition.
