My New Carrier
I will never use another carrier again after using Tello. I pay 25 bucks a month for unlimited everything! The service is excellent, never had a dropped call. Voice is crisp and clear. Internet is fast, never had issues with lagging. Data is fast. Service was super easy to activate. They even support eSIM. I use this service on me and my daughter’s iPhones and we love it! You can’t beat this price for great quality service! This is true value for money. The SIM card can be sized with any SIM compatible device and it comes with the SIM extenders. I;m sticking with Tello and I highly recommend them if you don’t want to pay an expensive phone bill and want to save money!

I got this Tello Mobile SIM plan for my daughter, and it’s been such a great choice! The setup was super easy — we just popped in the SIM card, activated it online, and it was ready within minutes. I needed the sim for my mom visiting from overseas. Would leave 0 star if I could.First to activate the sim, you need to sign up and provide a payment method, forcing you on an automatic renewal plan. If you want to cancel the recurring plan, the cancellation is effective that same day (not at the end of current cycle). So you need to cancel on the day you dont need it, hopefully before the autorenewal and remember to remove your payment info.Second, the number was plagued with spam calls. Got 100s of calls and voicemails in 3 weeks, at all times of day and night. And the phone number was linked to someone on Whatsapp, got soooo many calls and texts from randos, I had to change the settings and block everyone.Couldn’t wait to get rid of it.

smooth activation and porting
I was a little worried about what was included with this $14 purchase, but everything worked out as hoped. The activation went smoothly and was completed in just a couple of minutes. The cost for this SIM card did include the first 30 days service. I had to enter payment information, but that was only for auto-renewal after the 30 days. (I didn’t explore whether there was a way to skip entering payment info.)The number porting process was straightforward and self-service on the Tello web site, and nearby is information about porting the number away from Tello if/when the time comes, also self-service.This was truly hassle-free. I’ve just started using the service, so I can’t comment on call quality, etc, but since it’s an MVNO on the T-Mobile network, I don’t anticipate any trouble.

Great travel SIM option for a US visit
If you have an older phone that can’t do eSIM, this will give you the Tello service which is a great value compared to many eSIMs that only provide data (this also gives you a phone number). Phone number is very useful for receiving SMSes (for 2 factor authentication) and also for calling customer service numbers when traveling.

Wasn’t compatible with my phone it was carrier locked so double check that before buying any prepaid services like this one!
