Best Protection with a Separate Cage
I had an iWatch 3 for many years, which I successfully protected with a silicone cage and separate tempered glass screen protector for many years. Since Apple is terminating support for the iWatch 3, I got a new SE (P.S. Apple considered the old watch to be in immaculate condition when I traded it in). I got a pair of one-piece, #1 seller cages with lots of positive reviews for the new watch. The glass on each cage broke after a few weeks of usage. While the one-piece designs are easy to install, they suffer from a serious design defect. As shown on the image on the right, the tempered glass sits on TOP of the cage. The means the tempered glass doesn’t sit directly on top of the watch face, making it more susceptible to flexing/breaking and less responsive to touch. The tempered glass should have been installed into the BACK of the cage.I got these tempered glass screens to use with my old silicone cage. So, these tempered glass screens sit directly on the watch face, providing better support and higher responsiveness to touch. As shown is the second photograph on the left on my wrist, you can see that the tempered glass sits way below the top edge of the cage. So, the silicone cage provides better shock protection, recesses the tempered glass to keep it safer and should address any adhesion issues some have noted. I expect this protection should last for years, like my prior set did.

Just Plain AWFUL.
This is straight up just a bad product. — Cheap material, awful build and a bad look for your new Apple Watch.Most “tempered glass” options for Apple Watch on Amazon come as part of some sort of case or frame that surrounds the watch face and buttons, but this is one of the few options that just covers the screen itself so you can keep your watch nice and thin.But, just look at these photos. The black frame you see around the glass is the thinnest plastic imaginable (think old Lego plastic sheet) that does NOT lay flat along the edge of your watch. This is because the two glass covers it comes with use a thin layer of adhesive goo like what you might find on the back of a gift card. So not only does the cover stick out, just begging to get caught on a jacket sleeve or, say, a colorful case you might want to switch out now and then (which is what happened to me), but you also end up smooshing the adhesive glue which then pops out along the edge of the inner frame. So now your clean Apple Watch has foggy gray stuff between the glass and the frame.Also, just to put insult to injury, when I replaced my first screen (24 hours later) with the second one the glass had a dimple! An actual dimple of glass that caught light and looked terrible in my watch. And that was after ignoring the obvious grid of touch dots that fill the glass cover.Either this product is a huge failure because of all it’s cheap shortcoming or it’s a huge success in that it tricks people into buying 2¢ worth of materials, because when I tried to get a refund the product requires you to return it to a Whole Foods. — WHAT IS LEFT TO RETURN?? The two used 1-inch pieces of glass and the two-dozen torn baggies of wipes and rags? What a joke.Enjoy my $10 and enjoy selling this sorry excuse for a product. Glad I could buy more trash for my garbage can.

Disappointed
I purchased these in the 38mm size (twice) and they were amazing! They never came off. I upgraded my Apple Watch to the 40mm and in two days the new 40mm screen cover popped right off. The adhesive is not good. The cover came off multiple times and eventually I lost it. I put the second cover on and within a week it popped off. I don’t know if these were just old, so the adhesive is bad, but I’m very disappointed. The 38mm sized worked so well. I cracked them eventually over a two year period and had to order more and they worked just as well. It’s the 40mm that just don’t want to stay on. 😞

Good product once you get it on…..
Good product once I got it on my watch it was wonderful. This was a package of two. I had to throw the first one away because the tab didn’t pull of the protective sheet and when I tried to get it off with my fingernail it pulled the gel/glue and the glass actually broke and was rendered useless. The second one worked and was easier to pull off the tab. Once on the watch I was very satisfied but not happy that I only got 50% of what I paid for.

Poor quality
I haven’t had it a week and I’m already on the second screen. When I first put it on the screen was not registering when I clicked or tapped on the watch face. It kept catching dust or hair on the edges, for example: I have a golden retriever, I’d pet him and a piece of hair was stuck on the bottom of black piece from the screen protector. Happened more than once. Lastly, my Watch got wet and the screen protector lost its use and slid right off.Also, it has black edges. I have the 40 and with those edges it made the watch look to be like the 38 screen wise.

Easy to install
I’m terrible at applying screen protectors to my devices. I can never put them on perfectly centered & without bubbles so I was hesitant about trying to apply this screen protector on my own. The package contained a card with a QR code that takes you to a YouTube tutorial. I watched the video then applied it. I’m happy to report it went on perfectly the first try! The protector was perfectly centered & had no air bubbles. I had it on for a year with no issues. I showered with it on many times & the protector never fogged up or came loose. Some spots developed on the glass & could not be wiped off (I never take my watch off so who knows what I got on it) so I put a new one on. I’ve banged my watch so many times with the protector on & never experienced any damage to the protector or watch. This was well worth the money! I will be buying extras for the future. Thanks for this great product.
